They are, sub-genres of fantasy are kind of my babies. XD
A little bit. Her symbiote enhances her abilities to some extent, so she does have better vision in general. The glowing eyes thing isn’t the same as cats, because cats have a special layer in their eyes that cause it. I haven’t determined the exact mechanics of it, but…[Read more]

Greetings and salutations, Elishavet! It’s nice to meet you as well!
Ah, another Bible Quizzer. Are they all writers or what haha?
The Bible Bee is absolutely amazing! It’s difficult to put into words, but I shall try.
The Bible Bee is an intense study of a specific passage of Scripture along with Hebrew and/or Greek words,…[Read more]

@power
Don’t worry about seeming weird– I’m weird too. 😉I think I’d prefer the jetpack. Unless, of course, I could just make my own option, which would obviously be flying on a gryphon. Or a dragon. Or a pegasus.
My favorite thing is being able to blend scientific advancements with magical ones. I have a soft spot for magic in…[Read more]

@elishavet-pidyon Sure does! And actually, I digitally traced him from a picture, colored him in, and added my own personal touch. But thanks!

@keilah-h My favorite color is also blue! I have no idea what my warrior name is… hmm. I would likely be a medicine cat, though!
‘My’ fanfic was actually a co-author project with my friend and my sister, and it was about two sister cats who had opposite powers and etc., etc.
I did love Thor Ragnorok! I like Norse mythology and though nearly…[Read more]

Oof, it’s taken me forever to reply to all you guys, but here I am!
Woah, that’s like a consistent book week right? As a notoriously slow reader, I am in awe.
I’m going to have to check out Mark of the Lion Series by Francine Rivers then! I usually don’t read romance because I find them a bit dull and predictable, but from…[Read more]

It sounds like you have a deep understanding of Wilfred’s personality!
Aww, thank you! And you’re so right! Hard places in characters’ lives are so much fun for authors. 😉
Ooo… I didn’t think about that! That’s a very good point. Both Picket and Helmer made choices that included the royal family and left them guilt-ridden…[Read more]

Good question. So, this is a point in which they’re rather human. All creatures used to worship God, but as time passes many forgot their Creator. This is actually one of the things so terribly wrong with the wolfish government, one of the trials my characters have to face this setting isn’t all that different from this world in…[Read more]

@elishavet-pidyon I definitely get the sea dragon vs. stereotypical dragon thing, and technically, pterosaurs ARE dragons (or dragons are pterosaurs, either way). Honestly, I love all dragons and dinosaurs. My Star Wars fanfics usually consist of the characters having various different types of dragon wings, tails, and powers……
This guy is an…[Read more]

@elishavet-pidyon Helmer sounds cool! Also, I like that he’s a rabbit. I haven’t seen many stories where rabbits play a major part. I guess that’s why you have so many fanfictions on the series, cause they’re good….
My fanfics are mostly Star Wars and Marvel stuff, and also some for Jurassic World and a rather obscure sci-fi series called Tr…[Read more]

The Wilderking Trilogy was pretty good, but I found it a little bit predictable, mostly because I already knew the story of David which it was based on. The second book, The Secret of the Swamp King, was the best since it had an exciting twist at the end which I won’t spoil for you. Overall, it’s a pretty good series.
Yeah, I…[Read more]

That means the books must have been either really good, or simply dreadful. XD
[As I have read the Green Ember series I’ll go with the former (Helmet’s just great!)]

Both of y’all’s books sound amazing! (Yes I’ve been stalking this topic =] ) I hope they get published soon so I can read them.
I’m not writing an allegory in particular, but simply portraying truths in a different way. (Or is that what a parable is?) However, I keep running into rough spots. Here’s one.

@elishavet-pidyon What fanfics do you write, apart from the one about this character Helmer? (In my own fanfics, “helmer” is actually the word for male dragon!)
