And also… you actually have met Layson, he’s a side character in chapter one and two so maybe that’s why you don’t remember him. He’s the one who tried to defend Tauren from a kid who was making fun of him writing during break. They were childhood friends and work in the same mine atm. (This is a comic from book two– lol…

I really like keeping all my ideas on paper like this because you never lose it, and later you can look back and see how much the story has changed, and also sample some old ideas if you run out of inspiration.
Oh yeah, that is always fun! I’ve also kept most of my many many unfinished writing projects from years ago. Those…[Read more]

I just scrolled up and saw your picture of Tauran, and that is so good! All of it is really well done, but the lighting and highlights on his skin are just, wow. 😍 You did such a good job on it!

😍😲😍 I LOVE it! Your art is so good! And the panel formatting is so cool! So excited that you’re working on this! I’ve already loved your first two chapters, but two see it in comic book format?! YES!
I think this one took me about 3 hours?
Yeah, that sounds about right. 😂 Art takes a long time.
Oh, I should mention we never…

Ooh, that’s a lot of bread. My mom used to bake sourdough bread which was absolutely delicious! I love homemade bread!

I wrote a really long answer and posted it. It didn’t work and got deleted. So here’s a much shorter version!
I don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone say they liked Boromir though. I’m curious, why? 🙂
I had like a two-hundred-word response on why I like Boromir, but uh, yeah. It’s gone now. 🤪 Ahhh…. Anyway, I don’t know if he’s my absol…[Read more]

I’ve got two more! Both, however, are paid, so they’re probably best only if you’re really serious. I haven’t actually used either of these, I just like to share them with my fellow writers in case they want to try it for the extra help.
The first is One Stop For Writers. It has a…[Read more]

Alright, I’ll have to read them someday! (when I actually have the time 😫)
My favorite kinds of bread to make are whole wheat, pumpkin and cranberry nut.
Oh cool! Those sound really good. How long have you been making bread for?

You can quote someone by copying what he or she says into the reply box, then selecting it and hitting the ” symbol in the left corner (after the bold and italics symbols)
Just testing 😁😂
lol thanks!

Ooh, I like it! I think it’s cool that yes, there is the greedy King of Grandinwash, but the real battle is with herself and her morals. It’s definitely a good theme!
I haven’t read any Joel Rosengurg books, I’ll have to add them to my (very very long 😂) list.
1. Cool! I completely understand not knowing what the genre is called or…[Read more]

I think everyone pretty much already said what I think, but I’ll say it anyway. 😁 While they are both going at it pretty strong, I realize that they’re both mad at each other and are probably saying things that they don’t completely mean. But yeah, they both kinda come off as a feminist/chauvinists so maybe make it more about…[Read more]

Favorite character? Ah, that’s hard. Too hard… I can’t 🤣 I love them all! Probably Sam or Boromir, though. What about you?
Ok, yeah, I’ve heard of rustic fantasy, just not the name. I love that you don’t have to care about being historically accurate. 😂 Just make stuff up!
Ok, cool!

Yay! Thanks!
Yeah, the wait is thinking. I usually have it italicized, but didn’t want to go through the whole thing and re-italicize after I copied it. And I forgot. Does it make more sense with it italicized?
Ooh, yay, I’ll have to go read it!

Ooh, what instruments do you play? I play the piano and clarinet. Definitely Experience. I listened to Evynne a little. Her voice is so pretty! I love to see another music lover here!

Guys 😏 Tomorrow (or today, for you more chronologically advanced folks) it is officially legal to start celebrating Christmas. What are you guys’ favorite Christmas movies? Personally, I’m a fan of the (original) Grinch and Polar Express.

@freedomwriter76 I definitely do this! My 2 favorite charries (Bronwen and Ilwyn) are almost like my alter egos. Ilwyn is a lot more similar to what I’m actually like, he’s a complete softie and he’s got ADHD so he can be really hyper and lazy at the same time. He’s also the same personality type (INFP-T) and he’s my favorite color…[Read more]

@starofthenorth Hi Erica, good to meet you! I’ve been awful about introducing myself to people on here 🤦♀️ Well, I’m Ava, I’m 15 and I love writing survival stories :3 I’ve been listening to a lot of louder stuff lately (it’s the only thing that can keep me awake hehe) Right now I really like God’s Gonna Cut You Down – Johnny Cash, Aerials – S…[Read more]

1. Ooh, I like classical music! And I have some Ludovico Einaudi on my playlist. Movie soundtracks are awesome, too. So do you like a lot of instrumental music? I’ve listened to Peter Hollins, but not Evynne.
2. Ok! I’ll have to add it to my very long list of things to read/watch once I’m less busy! 😂

Oh I love Elf too!! Me and my dad both love it. It’s hilarious!! The Chosen is so good too!! The Grinch is really funny. We usually watch the live action one; but The animated is really good too!
