Oooo, CONGRATS!!! How exciting! XD
I do not have a blog at the moment, but from a reader’s perspective, I know my favorite articles are ones about the writer’s (or other writers’) book(s), whether that be memes, behind-the-scenes peeks, extra scenes, cover reveals, etc. I especially love fun stuff about the book (Covers, memes,…[Read more]

Ah, Danek… I could likely rant for hours about him, poor fellow. He’s a villain… of sorts. (It’s hard to explain without spoiling books 1 and 2.) But anyway, basically, he just wants someone to love him, but, unfortunately, it seems fairly impossible. His mother is dead; his father was emotionally crippled by her death and isn’t a…[Read more]

@elfwing Awww, girl I would love to, but right now I’m beta-ing another book, trying to get through a huge stack of sci-fi library books to expand my horizons (since I’m writing sci-fi, after all XD), editing my own book, and writing a part two book T_T If I can get through all of this though I would love to!!!

I responded the other day, but it seems my comment was eaten!
Haha that does make sense XD
Well, thankfully it was the villain stabbing a nearby guard and not the actual kissers XD The’re both safe atm ::::))

Daisy Torres replied to the topic reunite/first kiss in the forum General Writing Discussions 4 years, 8 months ago
@elfwing I think it’s good! I am completely not a romance writer though, so that’s just my opinion XD I’ve only had a set of characters kiss once, and they were interrupted instantly by a dagger, so–*cough* I bet Gracie will give much better advice tho XD

This is a great drawing. I love how it’s a social commentary on the state of current society. People nowadays wear a flashy, flamboyant demeanor (which you depicted as the colorful clothing), but deep down inside, everyone is just dull and empty on the inside (and you used the gray face to represent that).
I spent a few hours pondering…[Read more]

Exactly! He’s such a tragic character… He makes me want to shake the main character and jump into the story to fix the mess myself since the MC can’t/won’t. (If it wasn’t for the Book of Truth, I’d really dislike her… She’s already not my fav…) lol
See you! God bless. <333

Oh, sea serpents are very cool! Have you seen the one in The Voyage of the Dawn Treader‘s movie? It’s a serious monster. 🙂 My favorite mythical animal would likely be a dragon, but I love the idea of phoenixes, griffins, and the rest.
Awesome! The only one I’m familiar with from that list is LOTR; the others sound really cool though!…[Read more]

I have an update, but we don’t know if it’s good or bad yet. The hospital was so full of patients with covid that she couldn’t get in. They put her n oxygen and sent her home saying she has a virus. I’m soooo sorry I didn’t see your message!!! I will DEFINITELY pray with you!! How is he doing?? @mkfairygirl
@daisy-torres It’s alright. 🙂 Thank you!! He’s out of the hospital now but is still experiencing symptoms and having trouble breathing.
@mkfairygirl I’m glad to hear he’s out of the hospital!! My grandma just got it recently and was experiencing a lot of aching in her joints. If he has that, he may wanna try keeping himself warm, as that stops inflammation *cough* or so @elfwing says XD But it definitely helped my grandma with that. Also the doctor told my grandma to keep moving…[Read more]

I do have some tips, I was sick for over 6 weeks with long covid and almost hospitalized, and although I didn’t have pneumonia, my lungs were pretty bad.

@elfwing Awww girll you still don’t have your taste and smell back? Poor thing!! I read several articles online where people were able to get it back by stimulating those areas of their brains! @daisy-torres My mom has tried the essential oil trick but all it did was clear my sinuses haha. What happens when people lose their sense of smell and taste to covid, is that the inflammation sometimes causes damages the nerve endings, affecting smell and taste. I have tried…[Read more]
