Alright, I’ll have to read them someday! (when I actually have the time 😫)
My favorite kinds of bread to make are whole wheat, pumpkin and cranberry nut.
Oh cool! Those sound really good. How long have you been making bread for?

Here is another scene I wrote. This is after Christopher and Briana have been captured and have escaped. Christopher was fighting off a guard and told Briana to run. They just met again.
“I see you’re angry at me for doing what you told me…

Okay, I said I’d post something from my last book, A Dream Come True, so here is the pitch and the first chapter!
First, the pitch:
Elinor and her twin brother Aedan were supposed to be like children to the Dickinsons. Instead, the Dickinsons treat them more like slaves. When Aedan learns that the Dickinsons are planning to sell them as servants…

Hi there!! It’s great to meet you!! (*returns virtual hug*)
You said it, our Family is one that will never fade!!! <3 We all have the same greatest possession, salvation in Christ!! Truly, one of the wonderful blessings of this life is that we’re running this race alongside so many others! The encouragement and fellowship of the saints…[Read more]

Ooh, I like it! I think it’s cool that yes, there is the greedy King of Grandinwash, but the real battle is with herself and her morals. It’s definitely a good theme!
I haven’t read any Joel Rosengurg books, I’ll have to add them to my (very very long 😂) list.
1. Cool! I completely understand not knowing what the genre is called or…[Read more]

So it seems like a lot of you said the same things, and I realized that just this scene alone doesn’t make much sense lol 🙂 So I’ll try to explain a little more.
This is basically the climax of Christopher and Briana’s relationship. So it’s…[Read more]

Oh I just saw that you replied😅🤦🏻♀️.
You’re so welcome! I Hope you like it😁.
Yes, Golden Retrievers are great dogs. One of our neighbors has one, and he runs around the neighborhood all the time. He’s like our dog because he stops at our house all the time😂. That’s another reason we haven’t gotten a dog. My dad jokes all the time ab…[Read more]

Can’t wait to read it though!
And yeah, I totally thought you meant you were going to face us, the giants 🤣

Hello! I would like some ideas on this scene.
Background: Christopher and Briana used to like each other, but then they got captured and Briana blamed it on Christopher. She is trying to convince herself that she hates him, though she still likes him. Christopher loves her, but he hates her for hating him. (does that make sense lol?) Currently…[Read more]

Aw, thanks! It is challenging–but so beautiful and so worth it! Especially since I get to serve in church.
I love organs, especially when the organist really pulls the stops on a hymn like “How Great Thou Art!”
Bagpipes just make me happy. I don’t know why. 🙂

We all play piano, I play cello, my sister plays violin, and my dad plays guitar. I guess we all sing, too. My parents sing for church sometimes. My sister and I play in the church orchestra, and we play piano for youth group, too.
Oo, yes, harps are so pretty! I’m just scared by all the strings lol.
I don’t know what my favorite…[Read more]

No, it is not part of the Green Ember. (Those are good too!)
Lol, good to know! 😀
I hadn’t even thought about toothpaste. Shows how much we take for granted, right?
I echo everything you said.
@everyone
Happy Thanksgiving!

That’s the best choice! And it’ll come true too, in heaven! What a great hope we have!
Amen, sister :)!!
I’ve found some things about Riker on another topic and read them and his story is really touching! @freedomwriter76 is an amazing writer! I wish I could write characters like her! She makes them come alive! First they’re in her…[Read more]

Yes, I’m encouraged so much by the hope God gives us just when we need it. I don’t know if you’ve read The City of Ember (I forget the author lol), but basically the people are trapped in an underground city and the lights are going out. There is a group of people referred to as the “Believers” who are always smiling and singing and…[Read more]

I think the plural of “appendix” is “appendices.” It sounds weird tho! lol
I don’t really have a favorite genre of music. I listen to classical music a lot, and I like Ludovico Einaudi, movie soundtracks, and sometimes Peter and Evynne Hollens.
Yes, you should read the Roman Britain Trilogy! The first book The Eagle of…[Read more]

Your WIP sounds interesting! I’d be interested in reading it if you decide to post scenes or chapters or anything!
Nice to meet you!

Just curious, what made you want to learn Russian?
Well, I don’t really know when the interest started, certainly not heritage as most of my family is Scotch-Irish, but I have wanted to go help the churches over there since I was little. I’ve been learning Russian for a few years, but I’m still far, far from fluent.
Was learning the C…

Hey!! I thought it would be fun to have a topic where we can share things we’re thankful for from the last year.
For me, one of the big things is recovery from Covid. (I love how this says “Covid” isn’t a word lol) My family was very sick–I had to go to the ER twice. But God brought all of us through.
More generally, I’m thankful for the…[Read more]
