Flashbacks are useful literary devices. They can drop hints of mystery, clues to the story, or explain secrets.

idk who wants to get rid of a draft, but don’t. They are so helpful to look back on and say “oh, I actually like this character or that line” and steal from yourself. Plus, they are a part of your history! ☺️
