✨ INTRODUCING… ME! ✨
Hello, fellow travelers! I’m Lillian! 🐦⬛
I’m an aspiring author, artist, bread baker, book collector, and a girl who has approximately 500 fictional characters living rent-free in her head.
I love all things fantasy, medieval kingdoms, ravens, deep forest-green aesthetics, and books (I own 320, and no, I don’t think that’s enough).
When I’m not writing about morally gray kings or emotionally traumatizing fictional princesses, I enjoy making bread, drawing, playing piano, singing, doing theater, Civil Air Patrol, nannying, and refereeing soccer.
I’m also a proud daughter of the King! ❤️✝️
My dreams include publishing my own novels, getting an English Literature degree, and someday opening Drakes Tavern, a fantasy-themed tavern and inn. Because apparently having hobbies isn’t enough. I need to build an entire fictional kingdom in real life, too.
I’m an introvert in real life but an extrovert online, so please come say hi! I love talking about books, writing, fantasy, and basically anything that doesn’t require me to explain why my characters have so much trauma.
Anyway, welcome to my little corner of the internet!
May your books be plentiful, your bread rise properly, your characters cooperate, and your ravens remain suspicious. 🐦⬛📚🌲
October 13, 2026 at 10:04 am #214056Welcome to the land of KP!
My name is Beth, but some call me…. *thinks for a moment*… well actually everyone just calls me Beth. I’m a homeschooler who loves steampunk-fantasy, making names you can’t pronounce, honeybees, dystopia, kitty cats <3, various shades of green, gardening, theater and trying nearly anything new.
Except water-related activities. I’d rather climb a mountain without any safety precautions than face a shark.
I have questions!
1. How many morally gray kings do you have? I only have two, but one of them is technically a cult leader…
2. Do you like silence while writing or do you have some kind of audio like music? And what music would you pick?
3. Do you have any disaster bread-making stories? Like, making-bread-gone-wrong?
4. Do you have a favorite mysterious raven?
Hope I see you around!

October 13, 2026 at 10:14 am #214059Hello Beth!
Umm…at least 4 but I have to go through my WIPs to actually confirm.
I listen to music while I write and I match the mood of my writing projects.
(Like my current WIP gives off Hunger Games mixed with Game of Thrones so I mix the playlists and listen to that.) Anyways….umm disaster bread stories? Other than bread not rising…not really. I did have a really awkward experience selling bread where this guy accused me of cheating him of his money. But that is another story for another time. (Do the Ravens in my own WIPs count?) if not I like The Raven my Edgar Allen Powe or that Raven in maleficent (can’t remember his name…or was he a crow?)
Anyways…nice to meet you!October 13, 2026 at 10:19 am #214060Hello hello! I’m so glad you’ve gotten on KP at last!
I’m Ellette! I’m an author if fantasy, dystopian, and Historical fiction for middle grade, YA, and adults. I am also the owner of a publishing company, a content editor, and an artist/graphic designer.
Your writing sounds so cool! Oh my word! I also wanted to open a tavern bed and breakfast!
What are some of your top favorite fantasy books?
If you could pick to spend a week with one of your characters, who would it be, and why?
If you could be siblings with any book character (not your own books) who would it be and why?
So glad to have you!

October 13, 2026 at 10:26 am #214063Hello Ellette!
I love Shielded by KayLynn Flanders, Lightlark by Alex Aster, Heartless by Marissa Meyers, KOTLC by Shannon Messenger, and a lot of other books.
I would choose to be with Ryuu Veyr. He is a Prince of the ocean kingdom of Vaelora. He’s sarcastic, kind, and an excellent sword fighting among other things.
I would want to be siblings with Jaron from the Ascendance Trilogy by Jennifer A. Neilson. Cause we could do so many things and the amount of trouble we could find…the adrenaline.
Anyways…nice to meet you!

October 13, 2026 at 10:46 am #214072Haha! I love characters that get into trouble. Especially when it’s without malicious intent. 😉

October 13, 2026 at 11:05 am #214078Hi! Nice to meet you, Lillian. I’m HighScribe, aka Bridget. Writer, artist, aspiring animator, etc. etc.
and someday opening Drakes Tavern, a fantasy-themed tavern and inn.
This is so cool, I hope you do it.
Questions:
Would you drink chocolate soda?
What are your favorite drawing mediums?
WHY DO YOUR CHARACTERS HAVE SO MUCH TRAUMA? (hehe you don’t have to answer this if you don’t want to)
What do you think the greatest name for anything, ever is? (person name, creature or item name, name of a place or event, etc. anything) (and there is a correct answer lol)
I’ll see ya around!

October 13, 2026 at 11:06 am #214079Hi!!! It’s wonderful to meet you!!!!
I am Liska Boyce, aspiring YA fantasy author. I am currently working on a short story collection and a novel that is set in the same world as my collection.
Do you have a genre you prefer writing in?
How long have you been writing?

October 13, 2026 at 11:11 am #214081Hello Bridget!
would I drink chocolate soda?….no…? I’m not sure….I’m just imagining what carbonated chocolate milk would taste like.
I use graphite mostly, but I sometimes use charcoal pencils, watercolor, acrylics and recently have gotten into digital.
Why do my characters have trauma? Uhhh there’s an easy answer and a complicated answer…so I’ll give you both. The easy answer is it builds character development. The hard/complicated answer is I build my characters off of some of my own experiences and I will not deny that I do have so trauma…but hey it builds my own character and it helps me lean on Christ more.
ummmm I have no idea…..
October 13, 2026 at 11:13 am #214082Hi Liska!
I prefer fantasy! But occasionally will get bursts of inspiration to write historical fiction. I’ve been writing for 5+ years. I’m saying that cause I’ve been writing since I was very little and have notebooks filled with plots and characters and everything in between. But I’ve been seriously writing for 2 years now and trying to pursue that as a career.
October 13, 2026 at 11:29 am #214091Welcome to the Kingdom! I’m Koshka, writer of middle-grade fiction, random poetry, full time college student, history/language/culture nerd, and hand crafting enthusiast.
Ah! A Drakes Tavern sounds like a wonderful idea. I’d definitely pause my questing travels to stay a night. 😉
Questions! Would you rather ride a dragon for a day, or own a horse for a lifetime?
Are Jellybeans a real food?
A cup of tea is cheaper than therapy.
October 13, 2026 at 11:39 am #214095That’s awesome!!! I am very similar. I have been writing for as long as I could remember. Or making fantasy maps 🙂 But about 5 years ago I decided to get serious with my writing. So I have also been writing for 5+ years!
So I’m going to ask this but no worries if you don’t have an answer! What is your highest word count on a single project?

October 13, 2026 at 11:53 am #214100Hello Lillian!
(Takes a deep breath to introduce myself for the third or fourth time in the last 24 hours)
I am Whaley. I am a crazy creative who likes world-building, plotting secretive lore, history, antique-collecting, drawing, listening to music, and taking care of many pets. A fun fact about me is that my great-grandparents were associated with Chicago gangsters and Al Capone.
bread baker
Okay, I need a recipe recommendation for the best cheese sandwich bread. I had jalapeno sourdough with toasted cheddar cheese once, and it was my absolute favorite, but I usually use plain white. Do you have any favorite sandwich breads?
someday opening Drakes Tavern, a fantasy-themed tavern and inn
That is an idea I can get behind. Do you think you would get a Victorian painted lady house and base your tavern/inn there?
What is your current writing project about?
...
October 13, 2026 at 12:32 pm #214104Liska – my highest WC is around 30,000 (it is a completed first draft)
Hello Koshka! Probably own a horse for a lifetime! I LOVE horse. And I would say jellybeans are real foods.
Hello Whaley!
I make an artisan French bread, and I like to experiment with that dough recipe. And I use honey from our bee hives instead of sugar, cause my sister can’t have sugar.
My idea was something like that. I actually have a Drake’s Tavern in one of my books, so it’s inspired off of a tavern in my world.
Current Writing Project?
It’s set in the snowy kingdom of Iskaryn known for dragons and their skill of fight while airborne. The king starts a trial (The Solstice Trial) for three princes. Winner takes his daughter’s hand in marriage. You have Ryuu the romantic flirt who actually loves Keres (the princess) you have Deimos, whose good at fight but stays to himself, and you have Alastor the brooding prince who has secrets of his own.
And each kingdom is known for something Iskaryn = dragons, Vaelora = Alchemy, Azhara = Necromancy, and Sylvaren = healing magic.
Anyways…nice to meet you’ll
