Hello!
I’m LittleMissSunshine, AKA Evie.
Okay, to be honest, I’m just going to let you guys know: I’m REALLY excited to be here. I totally wasn’t checking my inbox obsessively to see if I’d got my account details yet😅. I still also have to figure that out though… I’m not great with tech lol.So hi! I’m an Orthodox Christian teen who loves to read, draw, listen to music, drink tea, pat cats, compile outfits, obsess over pretty things (flowers), and WRITE (duh). I’m drawn to the light and beauty of the Lord Jesus Christ in everyday life as well as in the epic battles in the unseen world. I hope one day to at least attempt to capture this in my writing.
I love writing fantasy most of all, fiction overall (I have some unfinished/barely started dystopian drafts, even some piddling romance somewhere I think, plus fanfiction. I love writing fanfiction for “after the story”, like what happened after the story ended officially?). My current WIP is a medieval fantasy. Here’s a quick blurb: In a medieval kingdom where the throne has long been empty and a war is on the horizon, the guilds exist as an outdated custom, created to serve the king and the one true God, and the stories of their legendary light-wielding powers have long been dismissed as myths (*quote time!* “And some things that should not have been forgotten were lost. History became legend. Legend became myth.” -Galadriel). ( I should probably mention that my favorite movies of all time are the Lotr movies and I adore the soundtrack) I will admit that’s it’s not very far along, but I think it’s the project I’ve been most devoted to since I started writing.
Again, really excited to be here, and looking forward to meeting you all!
In Christ,
Evie

October 20, 2026 at 8:20 am #214573Hi Evie! Nice to meet you. I’m HighScribe/Bridget, writer, reader, and draw-er. I love fantasy! And your blurb sounds cool!
I still also have to figure that out though… I’m not great with tech lol.
Neither am I. I don’t know what I’d do if it wasn’t for my dad XD
Questions for you:
What are your favorite books/authors?
What is your favorite kind of tea?
What do you like to draw? What do you like to draw with?
Do you like… coffee?
I’ll see you around!

October 20, 2026 at 1:43 pm #214577Hello hello! I’m so glad you’ve gotten on KP at last!
I’m Ellette! I’m a published author if fantasy, dystopian, and Historical fiction for middle grade, YA, and adults. I am also the owner of a publishing company, a content editor, and an artist/graphic designer.
What are some of your top favorite books?
If you could pick to spend a week with one of your characters, who would it be, and why?
What fantasy weapon would you like to own?
So glad to have you!

My favorite books:-Anne of the Island by L.M. Montgomery
-The Blood of Kings series by Jill Williamson (the prequel series is my personal favorite of hers, the Kinsman Chronicles, but it does have more mature themes – still Christian though!)
-Twilight (pls don’t judge me it’s a rly good binge read)
-The Mirror Visitor series by Christelle Dabos
-romance authors: Alexandra Moody, Lynn Painter, and Melanie Dickerson
-I have HUGE respect for Brandon Sanderson, my fave magic system is Mistborn’s Allomancy, but I need to lock in and actually finish series😅
-The Hunger Games is my fave dystopia (new movie anyone?!)
-The Betsy-Tacy series by Maud Hart Lovelace, based off of real-life experiences of everyday life in the early 1900s
My favorite kind of tea is English Breakfast, and before you yell at me that that’s so boring, trust, I have REALLY good English Breakfast tea.
I like to draw people: characters mostly. I draw with pencil and paper, but I’m looking into digital art. Any advice would be much appreciated on that front!
🙂↔️No coffee. Perhaps one day. Maybe I shall try it out… with copious amount of sugar and add-ons – hellooo Starbucks!
Sorry idk how to do the block reply sort of thing and I have no idea if I tagged this right, but yeah. Tech stuff again😅
Ellette: hello!
What are your books and publishing company? Can I find your art online?
My die-hard favorite books would be Anne of the Island and Rilla of Ingleside even though it makes me cry, the high school and post-high school set books of Betsy-Tacy. Fantasy: Kinsman Chronicles.
If I could spend a week with one of my characters… oof all right. Probably Ilaria. She’s quite a bit like me😅 I think we’d have a lot of fun, since she’s outspoken yet bright, and loves music and beautiful things (think compiling playlists together and looking at sunsets). If I wanted to have a sit-down talk about intellectual or theological matters, I’d pick Enid, but Alex would also be interesting.
Fantasy weapon hehehe ok. I don’t actually have a ton of experience with fantasy weapons in books proper, but a Harry Potter wand would be lovely – I kinda have a Hermione mindset about schoolwork (Wingardium Leviosa). Or something from Percy Jackson, like Riptide or Annabelle’s invisibility hat, a plain everyday object that actually has a lot of power.
So glad to meet you both!
In Christ,
Evie

October 20, 2026 at 5:30 pm #214579It’s nice to meet you. :] Always good to see a new face.
I’m REALLY excited to be here. I totally wasn’t checking my inbox obsessively to see if I’d got my account details yet😅.
Are you a stalker? XD Just kidding. Hehe… I was the same. I’m sorry if there was a delay because we couldn’t set up new accounts for a while.
What sort of music do you enjoy? And when you compile outfits, what sort of aesthetic are you drawn to? (If you have weird music and fashion interests, trust me, it’s impossible to weird me out at this point.)
Oh, and I’m Whaley. Obviously. I’m beginning to wonder why I keep introducing myself like this, because my name is right there. I love world-building, funky music, collecting old trinkety things, cool history stuff, all that lovely rot.
If you ever need help brainstorming or editing, feel free to tag me! I like editing and beta reading in my free time if I have the time. (And if you ever want to chat about anything, I offer my services.)

October 20, 2026 at 6:52 pm #214586Hello, Evie! It’s nice to meet you. I’m new here as well. As of last week, I believe. School’s been so busy I can’t keep up with my own life timeline, lol. My name is QuicksilverWyvern (though you can just call me Quicksilver or Wyvern, I don’t mind) and I like to write mostly epic fantasy with hints of other genres. I also have a ridiculous amount of other hobbies, though I’m definitely not equally great at all of them, lol! My dream job is to be an author and eventually a business-owner.
Your synopsis sounds cool! Love the Galadriel quote. Lotr is one of my favorite movies of all time as well. Undoubtedly my favorite trilogy. Can’t wait to see you around on here!
Now here are some questions:
1. What is your dream fantasy-style home? Not necessarily from a specific book or movie, but just in general, like a palace, cave, secret bunker, or something like that. Feel free to go into detail!
2. What is your favorite vibe for a book to be? Like, the general feeling the environment and story gives you. Whimsical, epic, dystopian, regal, etc.
3. What (in your opinion) is the best line you have ever written?
There once was a snail who was depressed and would do anything for his girlfriend. Didn't end well.
October 20, 2026 at 9:49 pm #214587Hello to another Rilla of Ingleside fan! We’re so excited you are here too!
I’m Elishavet around here. I write a smattering of things from poetry and short stories to a YA epic that’s on the backburner. Currently, I write mostly nonfiction (college essays) and a rustic/high fantasy inspired by Norse/Irish culture, Paul’s epistle to the Ephesians, and the Silmarilion, called Songs in Starlight.
I’m also beginning a freelance illustrating business and am always up for an art discussion whether it’s about past artists, current art struggles (hands for instance.), or little victories.
Your WIP sounds fascinating! I love what I can tell of its “texture.” Light weilding should always be legendary and never just a myth. Same with truth.
And here are some AskTheNewbieQuestions:
Do socks belong on chair feet?
Which do you connect with better, Narnia or Middle Earth?
What would happen if Walter actually survived the war?
