Elishavet Elroi replied to the topic Hi, introducing myself again since I've been MIA in the forum Start HERE 1 week, 1 day ago
Currently I write a lot of Biblical topics since my essays are school related. I love them but also don’t since there’s the added stress of a grade to contend with. I also write the occasional Chesterton/Lewis style short essay-rant on whatever is on my mind. Usually art, absolute truth, or the beauty of writing true fiction.

Hello and welcome to KP!
Essays… I have a deep love-hate relationship with them. I love exploring complex topics in an approachable way, but I also dread the search for sources. Which is ironic considering I would gladly look through old books for any other reason.
I’ve read Lord of the Rings, but none of the others, although many of…[Read more]

ACTUALLY.
Taking everything with a rgain of salt as always, you might prefer to put these two paragraphs together.
Yet beneath the glittering feasts, royal ceremonies, and fierce competitions, something darker is stirring. Not every prince is what he seems. Not every smile hides good intentions. And not everyone fighting for Keres’s hand wants h…

This is definetely intriguing! After reading it, I am interested in the vibrant world and curious why one prince is emphasized over the others. This sounds like it has a romance plot but also a complicated mystery. As a reader, I like mysteries, and I also like feeling like I have figured out the plot (but still want to be surprised).

Hi! It’s good to meet you again. I am so excited to see KP running like I remember it when I first joined five years ago. But even more, I’m looking forward to how this will grow as it serves a new “generation” of KeePers. This world is in desperate need of more lights set on a hill.

This is such a fascinating character concept!
For names, I usually decide what letters “fit” the person, then look at names from the cultures I feel are aesthetically/culturally similar to my setting. I also like to look at name meanings. Sometimes I find a perfect name and sometimes I find inspiration for a made up name.
Whatever…[Read more]

Tavar
A waterfall of words slipped from Bryce. Tavar leaned forward in his seat, eyes wide, mouth parted to catch any stray droplets of knowledge.
The vital organs and their shapes and significance to the body rushed past his imagination. This was not about the mind then. That fit the…[Read more]
