Ooooh I love Noth! Or be Eaten!! I started rereading the series a bit ago, and I am currently on that book. There is a lot that goes on with Kalmar! And Janner too.
Yesss I love Janner’s escape from the Fork Factory (the whole Fork Factory thing is when the series started getting good for me). He is such a great character! I do think that he had the most character development across the whole series. I do like Artham too, and all of those scenes are great!

You are in luck, because shells are my favorite shape of mac and cheese with bow ties as a close second. Those are CLEARLY superior.
And yes, I am quite fond of LOTR. My favorite character is Legolas (not Bilbo, ironically. He is my second favorite). I definitely recommend reading and/or watching it! (I read up until the first half of the third book. Does that mean I am not a real fan since I didn’t finish the series? I am not sure)

Heh not really. And not because there are to many options, unfortunately. I don’t read as much as I probably should these days, and I don’t really remember what the last book I really enjoyed was XD Maybe Cowboy Poetry by Larry McWhorter? That’s kinda my classic fall back fav because I’m sentimental about it…
Unless we’re counting comics/manga, because I do read a lot of those (though my current fav is still unknown because its hard to pick one lol, maybe World Trigger or Dungeon Meshi). But fiction / non-fiction book-books… i’ve got nothing, honestly.
I have a book about greek myths I want to get into at some point because I enjoy that kind of stuff. But I feel like i have to wash my hands every time i touch it so that’s such a turn off when I want to read lol

YES COMICS COUNT! I actually haven’t read a lot of comics. The only one I’ve read was a Super Mario one when I was younger (Just like I love LOTR, I also love Nintendo. Specifically Mario and Zelda). I haven’t heard of the comics you mentioned! And don’t worry about fiction/non-fiction… I’ve literally only read maybe two non-fiction books, so it’s okay.
Oh goodness yeah that would be a turn off. Of course I don’t know you’re situation, but all I can say is don’t feel pressured to read it! Because it is okay if you don’t.
