Ooo, how fun!!! Thanks for tagging me, @devastate-lasting!
Aaaaaaand, since we can talk about anything, plz tell me someone here has read Jane Eyre and loves it as much as I do!!!! (It took serious self control to not put that entire last part in all caps…😂)
(Side note: @power, that was gloriously fun to read… XD)

(*cringes* I am very late to the party…)
Ooo… This sounds like it will be a fascinating story!!! Retellings are so fun. XD
I’ve dabbled in retellings a little bit, but as I never finished my project (it was a retelling of The Little Mermaid called Rebel.), I don’t have a whole lot of advice for this particular genre. When it comes to…[Read more]

It really is phenomenal. The scene where Louisa falls is amazing, too, I agree. 🙂 Do you read much Jane Austen?

These snippets describe the personality of one of my favorite characters pretty well, if I do say so myself. 😉
His hair was a disheveled mess, and it took only a glance to perceive that he was positively irate. “Duxus!” he snapped. “Do you realize what time it is?”
“Yes, sir, I do…”
“It’s moonhigh! Midnight!”
“I know that, sir…”
“And you…

Gotcha. (Hope we didn’t spoil anything for you… *cringes*) He’s such an iconic character… What would the series be without him…
Last books are my favorites a lot of the time, too! 🙂

Lydia S. replied to the topic Some questions about characters in the forum Characters 2 years, 9 months ago
1. Definitely! I know for a certain book series, I feel that way about both the main characters. XD
2. For pretty much everyone (except maybe Sauron… Or the White Witch…), I’d say #1. (I’m a big believer in redemption arcs…😉)
3. The morally worst villain I’ve ever read about would maybe be Mordred from The Once and Future King or…[Read more]

So, I’m not the only one who does that!!! XD I very rarely read the ending of a book at the end of the book… Usually I spoil it for myself somewhere during the first chapter or maybe even before starting the first chapter… *facepalm* Honestly, I blame it on my writing style. I always know how my stories end and begin, so I guess…[Read more]

Aww, thank you!!!! I know; I LOVE redemption scenes… I’ll probably end up writing way too many for this series, and only a few will make it into the novels, but I’ll enjoy every minute of it. XD

Agh, yay!!! I’m so glad you enjoyed it. XD I agree; it’s an awesome setting and basic plot. It’s very unique to have helpless animals armed and fighting dangerous predators.
I LOVED the series! Ember’s End was my favorite book, I think… How about you?

Anne is a phenomenal character, I agree! She’s Lizzie’s opposite in nearly every way, and, although I love Lizzie, I have to say Anne is my fav. 😉 She’s such a sweet, quiet heroine. Plus, another point in favor of Persuasion is Frederick Wentworth’s letter… *happy sigh* 😛
Aww, thanks so much!!! I’m glad you think so. 😀

@jenwriter17 You did! Sorry you were tagged, I just copy-pasted from someone else’s post XD
@power, it’s not a book for the faint of heart
@koshka, The Reflections is a bit morbid at times but it’s also clean, for context my 13-yr-old sister is totally good reading it.
