Andrew

To be clear, I’m just curious to know what y’all think and I have no intention of getting heated.

Hey! Quick question, since you’re talking about the Holy Spirit!

I’ve had friends and acquaintances who say that you have to experience Holy Spirit through a sign like speaking in tongues, and if you don’t, you aren’t saved. There’s also the alternate belief that you can be saved without the Spirit, but the ideal place in…[Read more]

My mother was, though

Is she dead?

Ah, yes, me when writing last night

@whalekeeper

I don’t listen to much Christian music (outside of a couple things) because I haven’t seen much stylistic range.

Nice to know I’m not the only one. 😅

@littlemisssunshine

Greetings! I’m The Ducktator! Did you get your username from the Roger Hargreaves book? Those books were my childhood. I write fantasy mostly, and I also enjoy reading, dancing, birding, politics, and history. Compiling outfits is the best. I’m really into heels right now. I only own two pairs though because money. 😭 I want a…[Read more]

Chocolate chip is classic. Most of my family would agree with you about the syrup, but I love syrup and chocolate. XD

My dream car is a sleek, black limo with my own personal driver that will drive me to and from company events. Everyone will be required to wear sunglasses inside of it.

That sounds amazing.

Ari

His eyebrow rose, but he made no other response. The statement didn’t seem to require one.

He hadn’t meant to give advice, only observe. Warn maybe. Why did you even open your mouth, Verenion?

No matter. He reached for his quiver.

It was empty. Perfect.

With a muttered, “don’t shoot me yet,” he set down his bow…[Read more]

*Pained laughter because this is too relatable*

The boy’s mother? That was more human then, more than Ari’s blood.

No, the Elder are only cursed.

I nanny 3 kids. One of them I’ve been nannying from when he was born! It was the most precious moment when I got to hold him at the hospital a day after he was born.

That sounds amazing. 🥰

ummm…I like blue berry dark chocolate pancakes specifically made from scratch.

I’ve never had those! They sound really good.

Ah yes, a classic. XD I like lemon yoghurt pancakes.

I think I could carry 8 pigeons. 4 down my shirt, one in each pocket, and one in each hand. But yeah, the poop would be a problem.

I would have fire for the drama.

There are a lot. Right now it would be Paris from the Iliad. He is insufferable.

I would agree regarding modern country music. The older stuff’s good though.

Pardon me bringing this back, lol. It just struck me suddenly today without me thinking about it. Jim wasn’t a Christian when he died, I don’t think. Right?

@whalekeeper @loopylin

Poor Ellis.

Ari

He spared the boy a glance, then reached up and tucked back the hair that covered his pointed ears.

“Not likely.”

The doctor here at the school had tried to sort him into some nice category or other when he’d first arrived. Ari shot off another arrow. It had been a year since he’d since he’d seen the…[Read more]

Moth

”I suppose it would not harm you to worry a little,” Moth told Ellis. “Not much.”

@quicksilverwyvern

Flashbacks are useful literary devices. They can drop hints of mystery, clues to the story, or explain secrets.

Just have a good idea of how you’re using them in the book before you dive in. I don’t know how many times I’ve started writing something only to realize half-way through that it didn’t fit with the story. So, are…[Read more]
