@rae

We’re back in business! Good to see you around! <3 What have you been up to?

Congratulations everyone! Sorry I haven’t been active that much. I’ve been depressed whenever I saw the bookmark I have for here because I couldn’t help but think it’d all end.

This is awesome news to come back to!

@lillian

Aww, I love sibling dynamics. I can tell those are brother and sister. And not just because they have matching outfits, although those are fab.

@ellette-giselle @elishavet-pidyon

Ok here we go, Jasper can speak. Sorry for his insulting(ish) assumption here.

Jasper

“Have you been to war, Wolfgang?” Jasper asked the question in a friendly, less weighted voice. There was little chance the boy had.

@loopylin

*Stamp of approval* I think I like the Stormwatcher brothers one and the Ari one best.

@loopylin LOLLLLL

maybe they’re scared off by our goofiness

Ari

Moth wilted a little. Ari looked away, but he could still feel the fairy boy’s petal-blue eyes. His skin prickled. He glanced at Ellis without expecting anything helpful from that quarter.

Bother.

A sigh chuffed out of his lungs.

“What type of science class am I going to?”

@whalekeeper

Those cats. Gracious.

They kinda fit too. XD

All I could see when I closed my eyes were those stupid cats.

@loopylin @koshka

Yeeaaah that’s true. :-p They could easily turn sour towards each other. And that’s okay. No problem with little skirmishes.

Koshka, I was a little mentally exhausted last night, and when I tried to write, this collection of images suddenly flashed in my mind. I’m afraid I saw our characters as these cats.

@koshka @loopylin

Moth

“Come with us, Ari.” Moth let his antennae droop, just a little.

@loopylin @whalekeeper

I feel like if it weren’t for Moth, Ari and Ellis would probably not get along.

I feel this is true. Probably more than is good. XD

Ari

His eyes narrowed at Ellis’s back a moment, but the question seemed innocent enough.

“I was not unwilling.” It was nice, after all, to still be breathing. “But of course, no knowledge m…[Read more]

@loopylin @whalekeeper

Oh my.

Ari

Go with them, to a stuffy, windowless room full of stuffy, young princes? He looked askance at the two boys.

“A asfendë, Firefly. I do not think…” A teacher’s wide, frozen smile flashed to mind. “I happen to be one of those who wishes for classes. And those classes certainly do not wish for me.”

He…[Read more]

Moth

“Yes. I will go to your science class. And Ari will come with us.”

@loopylin @whalekeeper

Welp, let’s hope this one doesn’t go haywire.

Ari

Ah, yes. Most students here did regularly attend classes. Ari nodded, his lips twitching at Moth’s antics.

“There are classes for those who wish for them.”

It wasn’t as if he never attended a class. There was choir, and…well, there was choir. Why should he go sit in a…[Read more]

I appreciate this! When things get heated. . . it makes me feel blah. 🤣

Understandable. 😅 It always makes me feel bad too. Don’t worry about it.
I appreciate the verses as reference! Thank you for your perspective. It’s always interesting to read about. And it is good to hear other people’s personal stories.
This might feel like I’m…[Read more]

Yayy, he caught them both off guard

Moth

Ari and Ellis were almost smiling; that was easy to sense. Inwardly, Moth couldn’t help but glow. He kept a firm countenance.

He lifted his bow one last time. “If I make this, Ari must pay homage to my superior skills.”

Unfortunately for him, his arm’s strength gave out before he co…[Read more]

@whalekeeper

Ducktator is just a bit younger.

It’s so weird being one of the young people.  Most of my friends are 1-3 years younger than me. XD

@ellette-giselle

CONGRATULATIONS! That’s wonderful! 😃🩷

Also, just out of curiosity, are you going to keep your name since you’ve published under it? I’ve been wondering what would happen in a situation like this, lol.
