@lightoverdarkness6 Oh yeah those days were fun…..
Thanks a lot! Where do I start? Do I need to have read a certain amount of what the other charries have been doing or can I go in blind?

Hi so um, sorry if this isn’t the place to say this, feel free to direct me to another topic if needed, but I would like to join the character castle at some point, I would love to write a little more and develop some of my characters and I’ve been eyeing this topic several times haha. If it’s too full right now I can wait.

Hlo! I’m not currently working on comics but I’ve done a little bit of it in the past. By “WIP”s I don’t mean stories, I literally mean “art pieces that are Works In Progress” haha. But I do draw in a cartoon sort of style.
What do y’all enjoy doing? What are you writing? I’m curious to hear 😀

@freedomwriter76 You name sounds vaguely familiar, maybe we’ve met… but anyway hello, I’m Joy, I’m a writing-appreciator if anything. I’ve hung around writers for long enough to really appreciate the work that goes into the medium, lots of respect for you guys… I don’t quite have the braincells to do it myself usually haha. I still like making…[Read more]

Oh hello, it’s been a while……..
I’m not sure most of you know who I am but I was on KP a lot years ago. I’ve kind of moved on from writing for the most part so I’m not on as much but it’s so great to see that people are still here and hanging out and writing stuff together! 😀 How’s it been?
Also can someone tell me who did the art for the…[Read more]

Jenna Terese replied to the topic So….does anyone else have any advice on how to jump my book sales? in the forum Questions and Support 2 years, 5 months ago
@wilder-w So exciting! Here are some of the most important things in my opinion for promoting your book: 1) a website, 2) a newsletter/email list, 3) social media.
Think of your website as your “home base.” This is where you want to direct more traffic to, because there people will learn more about your book/whatever you’re selling, how to buy it…[Read more]

Jenna Terese replied to the topic How to make a side character more interesting? in the forum Characters 2 years, 5 months ago
@joy-caroline Something I try to remember when I’m working on side characters is that they are the main character of their own story. Even if they don’t have a POV in the story, they will have their own values, goals, motives, etc. in the story. I love working on their backstory, because it’s usually then that I discover their internal conflict…[Read more]

Jenna Terese replied to the topic How do you draft/write the "first" document? in the forum General Writing Discussions 2 years, 8 months ago
I used to totally pants my first drafts. Now I find it more helpful to make a plot outline and scene outlines before I get writing, but I still give myself the freedom to deviate from that outline if I feel like it. That’s just me though. 🙂

YES the Haikyuu writers made you care for every team! But Karasuno is my fave, and Hinata my favorite character (but Tanaka and Nishinoya are hilarious too) 🙂 -

Jenna Terese replied to the topic Planning out a trilogy! in the forum General Writing Discussions 3 years, 1 month ago
That’s so exciting! 😀 I’d definitely recommend figuring out how you want the whole series to end. Ask yourself, at the end of the last book, what do things look like? Where are the characters? What has been resolved? What hasn’t? In regards to plot and character arcs, think of the series as a whole one big character arc, or one big…[Read more]
