I do like to put some romance in my stories, but it’s not usually the central theme. Too much mushy-gushy turns me off, but I like sweet stories if they’re written right.
If I could go anywhere… that’s tough! I would love to tour Europe, especially France and Switzerland.
Honestly, I’m not really into movies/TV shows.…[Read more]

Thanks, @light-warrior-pen ! I’m glad you liked my imagery. 😊
The subject is me, the author, and the boat and sea is a fictional, metaphorical dream I used to describe the feeling of living in myself, I suppose. (Although I was next to the sea and I have been in wooden boats many times. My da is a fisherman, so.)
I’m glad you pointed that out…[Read more]

I love suspense, although I have only watched suspense movies.
My WIP isn’t really focused on it, but a couple of crucial parts involve romance. Mostly with the older MC because she almost married someone before they got captured, then someone from her past who she was betrothed to comes back into the story. So her…[Read more]

So making two characters fall in love can be easy or hard. Depending on the characters. (I am not an expert on this so this might not be the best advice 🙂 ) Since you have an enemy to friend situation you might want to have one person save the other or going through a tough situation together. I feel like that is a good way to…[Read more]

@light-warrior-pen @esther-c @whalekeeper @elishavet-pidyon @everyone!
I have decided that the end of my book will end on a happy note! What could be more happy than a wedding? The only problem is… well… I have never been to a wedding, unless you count the one I went to when I was 3? I don’t remember anything except I wore a pink dress 🤣 My…[Read more]

Pet peeves? On romance? Neveeerrrrrr.
Actually, what @whalekeeper and @esther-c said. XD
Also, it’s probably connected, but when she is so determined to “stick with him” that she puts everyone in danger. Like when he gives her instructions to stay safe and she blatantly disregards them just to “be brave”. It just comes across…[Read more]

Oh yes, loads. Building off what @esther-c said, I often find that the female love interest is… well honestly uninteresting XD Now that’s not always true, but very often, the girl is beautiful but doesn’t care, can tOtally take care of herself and mentions it all the time to the point of being annoying, and just can’t seem to…[Read more]

Um… I can’t really think of anything in particular at the moment, but maybe that’s because the few romances I’ve read have been really good. XD I do hate though when one of the people, typically the girl, starts making assumptions about the guy based on his actions and gets mad at him, not even letting him know why she’s m…[Read more]

What is the girl’s name?

Do they have nicknames?

Hello, @light-warrior-pen!
Favorite character: Prince Willibert, mostly because of his name. And because he puzzles me to no end.
Favorite ice-cream: espresso is really good, with vanilla and something chocolate.
Where would I go? Eh, I’ll say southern France. Just because that’s what I’ve been saying lately, and it sounds cool to visit…[Read more]

Yeah, there’s a lot of directions you could go about it. A short documentary type book I read called Dire Dragons I think is an excellent direction to point at for evidence against macro-evolution. The main point the book makes is that dinosaurs actually appear in ancient art all across the world, and often depicted as dragons.…[Read more]

I have been reading the entries in here… The reason I haven’t touched on the conversation yet is because firstly, I don’t know enough about your theology to feel familiar with the details. Secondly, I do have some thoughts, but am uncomfortable writing them down. Maybe when I read up on this topic more thoroughly, I’ll give it a…[Read more]

Absolutely! Does God not want all to come unto Him, every Man and Woman, Jew and Gentile, Race, tongue, and culture. It simply doesn’t make sense that God would intentionally force one to bitterness, then punish them for it, that wouldn’t be a loving God, but a vain and hateful one. I think it’s good to point…[Read more]

That is very true. I don’t think it is a particularly new development, but it is a major factor. All the other reasons such as school and technology would also heavily inflate that particular problem by getting people to put other things before God in the day to day, such as their schooling and likes on social…[Read more]

That theory is definitely true, one hundred percent. I have discussed God with at least a few atheists before, and all of them said they didn’t believe in God because of Christians. They said they had seen Christians act godly on Sunday, but then be hypocrites the rest of the week; people were trying to fit Christ into their…[Read more]
