First of all, I’m sorry that I couldn’t make it to their topic sooner because its awesome! Second of all I love all your illustrations, especially Obi-Wan’s, that was my favorite:) Star Wars fans all the way!
I’ve never written any crossover fanfic before, but I’ve written a little fan fiction in general. But when I say little, I…[Read more]

@jody-maile
Hi, Jody! I’m terribly sorry about this being so late. My absence from KP has caused me to miss a lot of awesome posts around here sadly. And I know you got the issue fixed, (I’m super super happy for you btw 😀 ), but I wanted to say that that is extremely relatable. Especially when trying to add themes simply ‘cause you feel like…[Read more]

Hi, Koshka! I’m Abigail and I realize that I am terribly late in welcoming you here to KP! That’s cool that you’re Power’s sibling, he’s got some awesome writing. And your’s sounds amazing too. I love the two wolf brothers and the characters and themes you described were beautiful. Which is your favorite theme to write? And those are R…[Read more]

Wonderful idea, Lydia! Everyone’s lines are so entertaining and fun to read, (I love this Cathrine btw. Her references to her Uncle’s rifle are hilarious:)

I think this is very interesting! Love where you’re going with Torrent, Indy, and this mysterious cave of rebels. Beaumont sounds like he’s going to be a great side companion too, but what I find really neat about this is the involvement with Indy and the possibility of Torrent getting an alliance from these rebels to find her fat…[Read more]

Hi, JC! I adore this topic and everything you said in the description! You described writing and giving flaws to Biblical characters extremely well. It’s so true what you said that people from the Bible often feel distant and in a different universe than we are in. Which is true to an extent since they lived so long ago and dealt w…[Read more]

Ooh! An allegorical fantasy!? That is awesome and I was so curious as to what this story could be about when I read the title. Then as I was reading the description, I was thinking WOW! I like this a lot.
Kai sounded like such an amazing character and jus…[Read more]

It is amazing! I think the best thing for me is being able to like nerd about Bible characters, especially Jesus! And the relationships between the disciples, especially brother-brother relationships like Simon and Andrew, James and John, are really great!

Have you seen The Chosen? It’s quite good biblical fiction and does what you were saying with making the characters believable and have flaws and all that. It’s a great series about Christ’s disciples and the struggles they might have faced following him during the years of his ministry. It’s really cool, and they have two whole s…[Read more]

How did you publish your book? Was it traditional, hybrid, self-published? I don’t suppose you could explain your process? I’m really interested cause my first book is nearly ready for publication😁.

@everyone
Sorry for the late reply, I’ve had a busy couple of days.
That picture is gorgeous! So cute! You’re a really good artist.😊 And I love Trumpkin.
I love your main character’s name. I feel like the cat is an interesting character …😁 And I love that you have a character called Nyx too!

Thanks!
I love your titles! And your books sound cool — I love the fact you have this sibling aspect in 1 and 3😊. Nothing better than some good sibling banter and play offs. A question — are your books about actual animals, or hybrid human-animal type beings, or about humans who are part of a group that call themselves animals?
My sto…[Read more]

@elishavet-pidyon Thanks!
All your stories sound cool — I love the sound of the feel in the first one; the second, I just love it in general, it sounds like the sort of story I love to write and read😊; the third — I don’t normally read animal stories, but yours sounds quite fun — have you read the Green Ember? That’s a good series for someone w…[Read more]

Okay! Hi! I’ve made this topic so we can all put up the premises of our WIPs or anything else we’ve worked on in the last or are thinking of working on in the future. Hopefully we can all enjoy a huge nerd with each other about all our stories!😊
Here’s the premise I’m working on for my current novel:

Neat premise! I think it entirely depends on a ton of factors you haven’t told us. First, how old is Torrent? Nobody’s going to give a 12-16-year-old kid a bunch of backup for a rescue mission. (No offense to anyone in that age range; I’m 16 myself. I’m just sayin’ that you can’t put that in a book.) 17-18 is pushing it. On the other…[Read more]

@keilah-h You should end it the way you feel is the best — and sometimes you’ll change your mind😉. I once changed the true identity of an entire character because I decided it would be more emotionally impactful if he wasn’t related to someone else.
That said, the idea of her having to rescue her father on her own does sound interesting (I love…[Read more]

@keilah-h I’d never heard the word wyverns before — I’ll have to get up with the dragon lore. I love How to Train Your Dragon, but I’ve forgot which one was Stormfly. Was that Astrid’s dragon?
MandaloreWings sound cool😁
Are there any BabyYodaWings to go with a very certain type of MandaloreWing?
