I hope you don’t mind me putting them in the same class, but I had another scene idea…
Inglor
Nyx wanted to skip class, that much was clear. He frowned slightly and traced the leaf on his shirt collar. “Geometry? I have that also.” He glanced at Almarrin.
“Psychology of aggression.” The grey eyes were smiling.
“Ai! Well…[Read more]

Oooo, I want more of these characters, even if I’m not exactly a romance reader. That does help with the background. =)

Almarrin
The elf smiled. “Êl sÃla erin lû e-govaned vîn, Dolunay, Nyx. I am Inglor Avelorion, and this is my friend Almarrin Woden.”
Almarrin bowed, but his attention was moving on. “Classes, Inglor.”
“Brother,” Inglor clamped a hand on his arm. “Are these your manners?”
“I bowe…[Read more]

Yes, the Alven have pointed ears, but they’re regular size. (Luna is adorable)
Inglor
Most of the students here walked in shadow as if fear itself lurked in the corners. They also gave Almarrin and him a wide berth. He frowned, the dance in his step diminishing.
Then a smile, one bright,…[Read more]

Go ahead!
I just had this scene pop into my head where Luna and Inglor meet!
“Well, hello, little sister.” Blinks at her purple hair and eyes with a slightly bewildered ‘where are you from?’ expression.

Almarrin
Whispers all this morning were stirring the quiet anger inside him.
“From the second story…”
“…heard he just tripped…”
Almarrin slung his backpack over his shoulder,…[Read more]

Everyone else basically said exactly what I was going to, so here’s a condensed form of my two cents:
I would make it about Briana, not girls. So say something like “Why am I not taking a watch?”, just to remove the focus at the beginning. I would also revise the part about being pretty. Maybe put inphasis on ‘I’m your king,’…[Read more]

CécileÂ
The moment these two had appeared the rest of the group went nearly rigid. As soon as the man had started speaking, she almost had to hold Annia back. The girl’s hands were held at her waist in tight fists, showing her calloused knuckles.
“Annia, no.” Cécile whispered in her ear. “Breaking his nose wo…[Read more]

Great topic!
I am thankful both for the opportunity to spend time with extended family, and for toothpaste. I mean, seriously, this world would be a much grosser place without it.

Well, I am currently working on a trilogy which I don’t have a title for. The first two books are set in an early medievalish time, and the last one is World War/modern. Oh, and all the characters are animals, a little like The Green Ember.
Hearts of Gold 1) [early medievalish] Divided in a kingdom of shattered truth, paths are twisting…

Wow. I wish I did.
1. Ah yes, of course more questions. =)Good choice! I’m surprised by the number of those who pick the dragon ride. I’d like an Akhal-Teke, and I’d probably name it Sar.
3. Poor Christopher!
4. Oh ouch. I had braces a few years ago, and I missed gummies so much. =|

Spill it forth, let it bleed.
Mayhap someone else will see,
How joy will come for ashes,
And mercy sets us free. -

Just curious, what made you want to learn Russian?
Well, I don’t really know when the interest started, certainly not heritage as most of my family is Scotch-Irish, but I have wanted to go help the churches over there since I was little. I’ve been learning Russian for a few years, but I’m still far, far from fluent.
Was learning the C…
