@devastate-lasting I saw the original Tron, and although I liked it I thought Tron Legacy was better too. (My mom was born in the same year the first Tron movie was made, can you believe that?) And okay, that sounds cool that you want to hear about them! I might go into detail on some of those stories if I can actually figure out their plots and stuff….

@precious-y Thank you! My story is about a villain who has a conscience, so it’s been quite interesting to write.

@zatara Yooo that’s awesome! I love finding people who like what I do.
Ah yes, several times! I used to go visit a lot.
Oh nice! That sounds like an awesome trip, haha. I love going to new places to base locations off of.
What’s your favorite part of the writing process?

Lin replied to the topic Hello there! in the forum Start HERE 5 years, 1 month ago
@zatara Nice! Yeah, Nolan is definitely my favorite Western movie director right now. What are some of your favorite works of his? I love Inception, The Prestige, and The Dark Knight especially.
I have a large sweet tooth, so I like almost any kind of dessert, though I’m especially fond of lemon pastries. Lemon pies, then.
Tenet! Yes, wa…[Read more]

@keilah-h I know there’s actually a prequel called Tron from a long time ago… Not sure if you watched it? It’s been a long time, but I know that I prefer Tron: Legacy.
Yooo those fanfics sound epic! I would love to hear more!

Yes, I was talking about which of my scenes. And yes, I detail my dragons a LOT. I want to draw an anatomy chart for them–like bone structure and stuff…….

@devastate-lasting I know, right? The producers have GOT to make another one!
….I have CRAZY fanfics on the series. I’m the person who writes the tales of Tron’s family life (by the way, he names his his oldest son Rinzler). I’m also the person who writes Clu a redemption arc, albeit a rather badly done one. And while we’re on the subject, I m…[Read more]

Hmm…. Many of my characters either have a flat arc or I can’t exactly pinpoint their lie….now I see why my stories sometimes end up flat. I suppose…..Maybe Kestrel from my Wings of Fire/Star Wars fanfic Curse of the Animus might work? She was born with a sort of power which could be called magic, and she thinks she has to carry this weight…[Read more]

@joy-caroline Thank you! It’s probably going to be a long time before I’m done with it (my longest standalone planned to date) but I’ll definitely let you know!

@keilah-h Oo, nice! Ah, I think one reason I like it so much is because of all the emotions that each character brings me, from Sam and his dad to Rinzler and Clu… It makes me want to cry, especially the ending part.

@devastate-lasting I’ve watched it three or four times. The last time I watched it, I remember saying, “Ohh, I so want to trade places with Sam Flynn right now……” I actually have multiple Tron fanfics, and I have a program character who’s supposed to be me in them.

There are so many species of dragonpeople. The dragonmen had their beginning with fanfic characters, who were sometimes aliens, so I made many different types (thank the How to Train your Dragon movies and shows for the inspiration on many of them). Most are egg-layers, but a few are live-birthers (is it weird that I intricately detailed their…[Read more]

@elfwing Which scene? And your characters are all so cool! So in the first scene I had, with the battle and the character getting stabbed and everything, the character Crosshair was a human turned into a dragonman (using some method I haven’t figured out yet). It’s hard to describe Feather’s relationship to him–she kinda loves him, but is also…[Read more]

@akbaer Sounds interesting! I have several at the moment (too many), but lately I’ve been working on a short story about a villain with a conscience.

If you have the resources, go for it! No regrets! 😉 If it totally flunks, don’t sweat it. If it turns out to be the best choice you could have made, yay you! <33 (I think a yt channel would work well for that)
