@beth-torres

By the way, I love that quote you have on your tag

@beth-torres

Thank you so much!

@reaganramm

Alright! I appreciate the change regardless. And thank you!

@whalekeeper

Whoa! How did you become a moderator? What does a moderator even do?

@ellette-giselle

It’s also just like you to track down the founders. Hah.

Wait what?

Who’s the new girl?

Also…Rak Chazak Amats is the war cry of KP…right? (I’ve forgotten)

@ellette-giselle

This is slightly scary. You’re in control of everybody??!!! And the website?!

@reaganramm

Ahhh, thank you so much!! This is great. Is there some way to move all our roleplay topics onto it? I can do that myself if moderators have that power.

I’m going to be that person who tags everyone without asking.

(Participating in this part of KP is optional. I’m just making people aware of this topic.)

@reaganramm

I found KP by accident, believe or not! I read tons of blogs and stuff, so in all my searching for resources for young writers, I happened upon KP. The blog has been a HUGE help to me throughout my writing journey!

@lillian

Yeah I totally get that. I have a cast of about 6 main characters and they all decided to rotate favorites in my head until I figured out who they actually all are 😅 How do you come up with character ideas? Do they just come to you or do you have to sit down and go through a process to figure them out?

@beth-torres

The House: *emo hair flip* “Bro, you just don’t get me.”

This house is actually such a fun idea. That was just my first thought for some reason when I read that part 😂😭

Actually though, I love that so much!!!! 🤣 That is lowkey House for sure!

@renegade

Hello! Welcome to kp!

I’m Loopy, also an aspiring artist and writer. I have been on kingdom pen for four-ish years (?) and have yet to finish a writing project. I love drawing, crows, anything star-shaped, gummy peach rings, music, and comfy sweaters.

I am one item away from having an outfit with entirely skeleton patterns

That’s…[Read more]

@bilbo-baggins

Nothing. You heard nothing about secrets.

Good choices! I feel like The Hobbit is somehow underrated…. But the third book/volume is so worth finishing. How far are you in it?

Yes! I meant Wingfeather. Sorry for the confusion. XD

Kalmar is a great character! I just recently reread North! Or be Eaten, and I was surprised how…[Read more]

@bilbo-baggins

I know, I’ve been practicing 😞

One day. Do not lose hope.

You should try it.  It’s very good and does not actually taste like butter, despite what the name would imply.

And fear not. You will not be defenestrated today.

@lillian

I use graphite mostly, but I sometimes use charcoal pencils, watercolor, acrylics and recently have gotten into digital.

Cool, I’ve just started doing digital art recently too!

ummmm I have no idea…..

In my opinion the objective answer is ‘snallygaster’ 😛

@lillian

I seriously am already in love with your characters!! That is the kind of blurb that causes me to pause while scrolling through endless stories on my library’s app. I would so read that!

Now I have to ask: Of the four you mentioned, who is your favorite? Who is your least favorite? And, if you don’t mind sharing, why?

@whalekeeper

Yes. That is a good idea. It’s crazy how much lore has developed. I think the Royal school is the most structured/would have the most choas on its hands, but the others have long histories. XD

@koshka

Yayyyyy! I would live to join. =D
