Well… In truth…. Bilbo… might be my bestie 😶🌫️ She also hates avocados, seafood, olives, turkey, onions, and… hmmm. I think those are all the Bilbo banes I can think of. Any of them should work.

I want secretsssss.Oh, and hi! I’m Elishavet around here. I write a hodge podge of poetry, college papers/nonfiction, short stories, a serial story with another KeePer, and several longer projects that have been simmering for years.
Also a Tolkien fan, although I generally connect to the works of C. S. Lewis a little more. Legolas is a good favorite, as is Bilbo naturally. As I am only a few inches taller than him, Pippin is a dear friend of mine, but I have to say Sam, Elrond, and Faramir are probably my favorites… Probably. It’s hard to pick.
What have you read of Tolkien’s work? And who/what is your favorite WFS character/scene?

ANYHOODLES, hello! I must agree with you that Elrond is a very superior character, as are Pippin, Sam, and Faramir. As for Tolkein’s work, I have merely read the Hobbit and the three (or one? If its all put together) Lord of the Rings books (okay, I only read half of the third book 😶🌫️😶🌫️😶🌫️). And when you speak of WFS, is that the Wingfeather Saga? I looked it up and the internet said it stood for “Windows fax and scan”, which I am assuming you are not talking about. If you are, then my apologies, because I shall answer for the Wingfeather Saga. My favorite character is Kalmar, and some of my favorite scenes were the Fork Factory (they were so sad) and the thirteen muffins. WHAT ABOUT YOOOUUUUUU (also I am very sorry if I am talking about the completely wrong thing)

1. Reading, drawing, 3D modelling, and videogames!
2. YES (my favorite is Vantage, which is like if an open-world videogame was a board game)
3. Butter pecan. I know it’s an old person flavor but I also like to knit and am extremely nearsighted so maybe I have the soul of an old lady or something.
4. Same. I love worldbuilding.
5. I cannot think of anything cooler. If I met someone who did not like swords they would be promptly defenestrated.

Good choices! I feel like The Hobbit is somehow underrated…. But the third book/volume is so worth finishing. How far are you in it?

Kalmar is a great character! I just recently reread North! Or be Eaten, and I was surprised how much goes on in his head that I missed (he seems to have inklings of what Podo did with the dragons for instance). And those are some fine scenes indeed.
I think my favorites are Janner and Artham, although the whole family is very sympathetic. My favorite scenes are the sketchbook scene by the River Blap; the Fork! Factory! second scene in the box/Janner’s escape; the end of North! Or be Eaten; and Janner and Kalmar in the tunnels under Throg.
