Oh that sounds SOO cool! I’d totally read that! That’s cool that you write with your sister too! I have 4 siblings, but none of them like to write XD. Although, my little brother is one of my main beta readers, which has been interesting lol.
That’s awesome! I haven’t written many short stories (mostly cuz when I do, they end up…[Read more]

The Horse and His Boy is my favorite Narnia book! That and the end of The Last Battle. Ah, the Hermit…

The Hermit. Yes.😂 I love Horse and his Boy …
I don’t think it’s plagiarism, though. Your story will be different to mine in a thousand other ways, so I don’t think it really matters if some of our names have similarities.

I love your lines! And is it crazy that I also have a character whose nickname is Prince S?😂

Well, I only kind of read The Archer’s Cup… 😛 I started in the middle and skimmed through the rest. I thought it was good; not my favorite book in the series, but definitely better than some other books I’ve read. 😉
Oh, that is so cool! The GE actually series inspired me to start a fanfic, too! I haven’t worked on it in month…[Read more]

@elishavet-pidyon Haha!! How dare Tolkien plagiarize you XD But yesss I totally feel you. It’s so disheartening when things like that happen T_T

No problem, like I said, I am The Queen of Belated Things! That your reply to my belated post should be belated is perfect for the theme of belated-ness 🙂
They are all such AMAZING authors!! Chuck Black and C.S. Lewis wrote some of the best Christain allegories I’ve ever read. YES, Fanny Price is one of my favorite Austen c…[Read more]

Glad to have given you an idea.
I wasn’t sure if my idea of people communicating with animals is lame-sounding or not. It’s based on my imaginative world when I was little changed a bit but the world, peoples, cultures, and fantasy creatures still have their roots in that. When I was young I’d spend hours upon hours going on…[Read more]

@devastate-lasting
True. Where do all those Eastern Dragons be tho?True. True. I actually liked the three introductions when I first read it too. I thought it was a deliberate poke at all the fantasy clichés. I hoped the story would be a somewhat fun yet heartfelt parody of the common fantasy stories. However, the rest of…[Read more]

Thanks so much for the tips everyone. They are all helpful. I just realized I forgot to mention anything about the prison or the escape. Might have been helpful…
So my two girl characters Kedja and Zyla are trying to escape a prison that they’ve been brought to to be trained to work for Okdor, my Villain. Kedja, through a very tragic back…[Read more] -

Well… I’d say everyone else here has given great answers.
I’d say the same thing. With your characters actions if he messes up be sure to portray the wrong as wrong.
Again with the government and any authority we are commanded to obey them unless it goes against the Bible. And when we can’t obey still do it respectfully. Like @elishavet…[Read more]

Okay, y’all, I’ve got a dilemma on my hands.
To give you a bit of background information, my main character (Emeric Dertok) has recently come back into society after eight years of living the life of a hermit. He’s working for the King (Jornan), who charged him with the task of tracking down spies trying to sabotage the government. But as enters…[Read more]
