It certainly does for me! There’s suspense concerning the potential arrest of people, and the growing excitement of a war possibly coming.

Oh and just to clarify, the words that I suggested should be taken out shouldn’t be taken out every time they’re in your prose. It’s just a good rule of thumb to follow, not some law. Just wanted to make that clear. 😊

Um, I don’t think so. I believe I was just pointing out some wording that I felt was a little awkward. My suggestion was a way to word it differently so that it would be smoother to read. O_O I’m not sure I want to see this scene.
Poor villains. They can seem nice at times, and we as the authors know what they really need, they just never choose it.
I did once have my twin feeling kinda bad for one villian though, untill I told her he murders his brother.

I do understand though. Most of my antagonists are the MCs, but I do have a several villains and antiheros scattered through out.
