Oh awesome! I like that about short stories too. Although I tend to make them too long and drawn out XD
Ikr! I should!
Aww that’s awesome!! I was kind of similar. When I was around 5-11 I would write short stories and novellas and “publish” them with tape, staples and printer paper XDD. And then when I was…[Read more]

Well, I’m homeschooled, so all of us do some sort of writing activities for school. But other than that, not really. My little brother is just the most similar to me. He loves reading and writing. He handwrote his book, but I had to have him read it to me right away after he wrote it because I knew it would be pretty hard to…[Read more] -

Wow, thirteen years is a pretty long time to be playing piano. For writing projects… well, I have a whole list of new stories to make (or updates to make on old ones), but I haven’t gotten to them yet. I have a lot of school and other activities, so it’s hard to find time for those things now. My five-year-old brother just…[Read more]

Yes, I will be self-publishing Identity, since it’s the first book that I plan to publish.
I started teaching myself piano six years ago (which lasted about one year), then I had a teacher on and off for three years, and now I have been teaching myself for three more years. So in all, I’ve been playing for seven years. I…[Read more]

Yeah, for sure 🙂
I used to write a ton of
cringe worthyshort stories, but I think I got kinda tired of writing them XD. I’ve just been working on my main project, although I would like to get back into writing short stories cuz they’re good practice. But yeah. *shrugs*What about you?
Ikr?! Yess pasta is…[Read more]

Very cool!! I like writing the endings too, it’s satisfying, although I have trouble not drawing it out too much or making it too happy XD
Oh cool! She’s actually the one who pointed me to KP and encouraged me to join the forum. That would be so cool! Yeah, she’s inspiring!
That’s so true (about…[Read more]

That’s awesome! I’m pretty new to writing seriously, so I’ve never actually completed a novel yet.
I think my fave part about the writing process is character arcs. I love finding my charries unique voices and being able to write them in their different journeys. What about you?
I love spider-man! Are you excited…[Read more]

AHhHh I love the end too! But then, I also hate it if you know what I mean *cries silently*
I know the themes in it are BEAUTIFUL! I love the poetry too! Peterson is an incredible author!
Do you like troll poetry? I don’t always understand it very well, but I must admit…those trolls are talented XDD

Haha, ikr!
I don’t, actually…yet. I’m a definitely a pantser when it comes to writing novels (especially a series), so I usually don’t have a good premise until I finish it lol. But basically *doesn’t know how to summarize without spoilers and without making it sound boring* it’s about a dystopian society called Kalopsia…[Read more]

I think my favorite has gotta be my current WIP, which is a dystopian trilogy. I just love the setting, the plot, and the characters are just awesome!

Power replied to the topic What Kind of Writing do You Excel at? in the forum General Writing Discussions 2 years, 11 months ago
For example, I like (I will not say that I excel) to written poems (as long as I have a decent topic), humorous banter (Never would have guess this one I’m sure) and random little stories that are based off of sayings (I mean really, who was Life anyways, and why does it give people lemons?). I tend to write good papers about…[Read more]

House of Mages actually sounds pretty cool. What was wrong with that made you not go through with publication?
Woah, that’s a cool idea. I don’t think I’ve ever heard of an idea like that. It sounds like a tricky story to write, but you should totally try going back to that story when you have the…[Read more]

It’s been a while since I’ve popped into the forum, and I’m so sorry I never replied to y’all!! Life got crazy!!

True. Where do all those Eastern Dragons be tho?True. True. I actually liked the three introductions when I first read it too. I thought it was a deliberate poke at all the fantasy clichés. I hoped the story would be a somewhat fun yet heartfelt parody of the common fantasy stories. However, the rest of…[Read more]

@devastate-lasting Of course!!! Aww, that’s unfortunate. Have you tried Wattpad? I did that some years back and had a lot of success with it (Sadly, they kept shoving a lot of romance books in my face, so I pulled my books off and deleted my account, but the community aspect of it was a lot of fun, and I connected with a lot of great readers and writers!)

Phil is great. My favorite character would probably Rei, but Norman is just a thread behind. I really like both smart and complex characters who are a lot more than what they appear. I kinda expected Rei in the beginning to be the typical emo kid with black hair and Norman to be the typical smart kid who never breaks the rules.…[Read more]

All I can say is…wow.
That is…quite a lot of words.
The quickest I ever wrote a full length novel was in Camp NaNoWriMo one year, 2018 i think, when I finished my 90k novel in three weeks. I have never done that again 😛 I think the longest I’ve been actively working on a project is about eighteen months,…[Read more]
