By the way, the journal is important. Somewhat. Just wanted to let you know. Just in case the title made it unclear. XD

I wasn’t allowed to read them until I was in my mid teens, because my mum felt the last few books were too adult for me as a kid. I liked them, but honestly don’t feel any connection to them. I feel there are a lot of better series, personally I prefer Percy Jackson and Rick Riordan’s other works!

I used to totally pants my first drafts. Now I find it more helpful to make a plot outline and scene outlines before I get writing, but I still give myself the freedom to deviate from that outline if I feel like it. That’s just me though. 🙂

I’ve never been part of the Author Conservatory, but I’ve heard a ton of good things about it 🙂
