I don’t think I ever have on purpose, but I’m sure I’ve done it many times without actually realizing it. Have you?

Thank you all so much for the advice!! I am now halfway through the aggravating scene, so I’m glad I stuck with it. Thanks again!

This is very random, but when y’all are writing and you get stuck at a scene, do you make yourself keep working on it so you stay in order? Or do you sort of jump to the next scene that interests you so you can keep up your momentum?
Adding some peoples… (also this might go through twice…)

Ummmmmm… *completely blanks* is both an answer? Sometimes it’s easy because I can think, oh, hey, how would I respond in this situation? But other times, it’s like, but I don’t like how I respond in this situation! And then I change it.

@relia Thank you SO MUCH for liking Loki! My friends think I’m crazy for liking him, but I think they’re crazy for not, so we’re even.
I’m Natalie and you sound super fun! I really like LotR too, and I may or may not have started laughing hysterically at your Gollum impression XD. Also Star Wars, and no, the new ones are not good. I like the new…[Read more]

This is such a cool topic! I would choose Tess, Rowan, and Connor.
Rowan (MC) is a prince that was supposedly killed as a toddler. His oldest brother, the king, wanted him dead so he wouldn’t have rivals, but he also needed him alive in case he died without leaving an heir. So he let Rowan live, but never told anyone who he was. R…[Read more]

@morgan Ooh, living on a farm sounds like so much fun! We have one cat inside, two or three that we feed outside, and sometimes we foster kittens.

Yay, you like How to Train Your Dragon, too!! I love the movies so much. Do you have any pets?

@morgan Hi! I’m Natalie. Your novel sounds really interesting! I have been in the same position with my WIP like 3 or 4 times, so I understand. It sounds to me like this idea could really help you, but that’s just me looking in from the outside. If you’re worried about adding someone else into the sibling bond and messing it up (that’s what I…[Read more]

Thank you for understanding about that:) Moving across Canada? Wow, that’s cool:) It sounds tough, but really awesome at the same time 😀
*High five for omniscient writing!* XD Ooh, but first person is always fun too:D Though the only times I really use it are when I interview my characters or write journal entries for them or while…[Read more]

Don’t worry about it at all! In fact, I love long descriptions and I love hearing anything about horses. All you wrote was incredible and thank you so much for telling me about breaking Gypsy for riding, I just think it’s so amazing…[Read more] -

First of all, you’re definitely not alone with this. I have been striving to draft my nearly four-year-old novel for almost a year now and the second draft of anything is hard. But you’re 100% right, giving up is not an option. I totally understand the feeling of having an incredible story in your head, the action and characters…[Read more]

Hi Elanor! I’m really sorry about this late reply, and thank you for your patience with me here:)
*Gasps* You actually broke a horse? Wow, that is so amazing and I am 100% impressed by that. Do you have any tips or thoughts on breaking horses? I would like to do it one day, but I have broken in ones to watch for now XD But anyway, yes, s…[Read more] -

@nanisnook Aw, thanks for asking!!
That one is a side project that I turn to when my current WIP isn’t going that well 😂 I’m nearly finished with my current WIP though! As soon as it’s done, I’ll be working on Smoke and Mirrors full time!!
That’s great!! I’m glad you’re almost done with your current WIP, too.
Thank you!!!
