oof, such a long-ish message, sorry about that…

@bilbo-baggins

Ugh yeah, I probably won’t by a switch two for it either, because I feel like there aren’t enough games that my brother and I would actually play on it.

Yeah.. thats real.

Nintendo needs to make more new interesting games. And maybe make them (local) multiplayer… idk what happened to games being more than one player?? And may…[Read more]

I have heard, but have not read.

Chocolate, however, I have consumed. The best is a ballance between dark and milk with some deied fruit or cookie bits in it. Unless it is Spanish truffles. Mmmmmm….

Have you heard of/read Christina Baehr? I have a feeling her work is a very different genre from what you are talking about,…[Read more]

Yes of course!!!

About two years ago, my mom was diagnosed with Mantle Cell Lymphoma. It was pretty bad, she had to go to MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas (a LONG ways from Montana where we live!) and get some treatment because her cancer was really severe. Mantle Cell Lymphoma alone is very aggressive, and my mom also had…[Read more]

Yeah! I think I’ve only seen the first trailer, but I think it looks pretty good! My brother said it seems like a lot of devs are starting to use Unreal Engine to make games, so they’re all starting to look the same a bit, and we were slightly surprised that Nintendo was using it too. But it’s cool, I like the realistic-y angle f…[Read more]

Very good. It’s a delicate matter.

So Inglor is a monkey. 😀

Precisely.

That makes me think of the god-disguised-as-a-beggar, and I love the themes associated with that trope. Except in this case, you have a lot more variety going on. This is not just a message about judging a book by its cover – this is also about preconceived b…

*nod nod* 😊

YES COMICS COUNT! I actually haven’t read a lot of comics. The only one I’ve read was a Super Mario one when I was younger (Just like I love LOTR, I also love Nintendo. Specifically Mario and Zelda). I haven’t heard of the comics you mentioned! And don’t worry about fiction/non-fiction… I’ve literally only read maybe…

Of course it is. XD I will never speak that word around Inglor again.

He has heightened senses generally, talks to trees, and is ridiculously agile.

So Inglor is a monkey. 😀

For instance, a stranger traveling through the Wode expects to see lots of animals, maybe a r…

Hmm. That is a good scene. I love Rivendel in both. It’s such an ethereal yet cozy place. The dramatic camera angles had me laughing a lot too, or wiggling in awe depending. It’s funny how specific scenes will stick on one’s head. Do you ever imagine your books as movies?

Ah.

Yes! Actually read that aloud to my Mom once. It was…[Read more]

ACK! I did not respond about Remi…

Ye. The whole story feels very French; I have a playlist and half the songs are just French.

That. Is. Fabulous. How else does one get into the right mood?

But it’s a fantasy and everyone gets into weird wacky hijinks. (With many games of croquet.)

Wouldn’t it be great to own an ice cream or candy shop, and spend your days making pretty treats?

@stellybean

…If cereal has a lot of milk, is it a soup?

Hmm. I don’t know. It’s not cooked, so I’m a little skeptical. Not to mention, soup is savory. But I am willing to be persuaded.

……Are burritos/tacos a sandwich?

Decidedly no. Sandwiches are made from two pieces of bread with another type of food in between them.

Hello noob. You sound cool. :]

I must ask, how would you explain your summer novel, comic, D&D campaign, and metroidvania? Give me a little summary of each one, if you like. Or not. Whatever you would deign to tell a stranger.

It sounds like a challenge to combine steampunk, which is a genre built around retrofuturism and the…[Read more]

Ah! I love The Count of Monté Christo!

I’ve met very few people who stuck it out to the end. That book is long for sure.

Do you have a favorite character from it?

Hey! Glad to see you back!

I’d not read Horror, Christian or other. XD
