By a strong church I mean one where God can move unhindered, the people are unified as the body of Christ, and the pastor preaches the Word and the congregation backs him.
We do actively worship if that’s what you mean. We dance before the LORD in praise, but nothing such as Jewish ring dancing or stuff like that.
My favorite…[Read more]

Ah yes, Wentworth’s letter. That scene (besides Louisa’s fall) is probably one of my favorite in the book. And I usually don’t enjoy romance books…

Hmm, well, those activity things didn’t worked for me, so I tagged you here. (Sharing images on here is troublesome for me too)
Ooo, I can’t wait to see it!
Here’s a link to my email; If this works.

I suppose Natalia is sort of that entire known world, but for some reason it seemed to me more like a kingdom in a wild, unknown land.
I wonder if there’s a thing on here for Antagonist development. Or maybe we should start a new one.
Uniqueness… That may turn out to be a struggle, especially as I’m not entirely…[Read more]

Ooo, I like that last bit.
I can’t exactly see the rhyme and meter as the stanzas are written together in paragraph form, but what I could I enjoyed. Would you mind reposting it in verses (If it was written as such)?

*Grimaces*
Bonnifer certainly did more damage. Hmm, maybe that should be taken as a warning; Garten betrayed his king and broke a kingdom, Bonnifer twisted a child and shattered a world.
*Sigh* My antagonists are either vague or already dead. They need work, but as I’m not sure who several of them are…

Bonnifer is as bad a Garten Longtreader, if not worse… He is well written though.
Slarb… Slarb… Yes, that sounds right. Not him either, the grotesque poltroon. Fangs are just horrible, I suppose.

I never really thought of it as beautiful, just home.
Yep. XD
Snow is good, as long as you don’t have to travel in it and the power doesn’t go out.
I do like living here. We have strong churches and ——-. (I vehemently dislike politics)
I have never moved, but as my parents were both born in other states (to Texas folks)…[Read more]

I live in the Piney woods of East Texas, so round topped pines and ceder (The type of evergreens that explode pollen in the spring). We don’t get much snow, and when we do it’s usually just a dusting on top of ice, and it never stays long. However, every other year or so, we get a winter storm around February. The roads, and…[Read more]

I don’t like Bonnifer. At all. Or Weaver. I mean, I could almost (but definitely not) prefer Oster Will. However, I don’t know which one I dislike the most.

The most beautiful place… My family has traveled much around the US to see family, so it’s hard to decide. Or remember.
- Tacoma Narrows and the Puget Sound with the tide rushing in.
- An overlook near Snoqualmie Pass (In the winter).
- This valley in Wyoming where you can stand on one rise and look across at the mountains…

And Janner giving his life for Kalmar and all the broken sort of fulfils the plotline between Artham and Esben. If that makes any sense.

*Stormy auplause*
Which was your favorite book? Mine was always the first, but my siblings say that if I actually read (opposed to skimming so fast I miss half the scenes) Ember Falls that’ll change. I doubt it…

Anyway, my animals are complete animals in clothing that walk on two legs but often run (or lope) on four. I’m still figuring out how exactly armor and weaponry will work with this, but so far I haven’t had any real difficulties.

Thank you! I love some of those too, especially when it’s like Green Ember or Mistmantle Chronicles. These are physically just like normal animals here (besides the whole clothes, weapons thing), but are otherwise persons (if not human).

I just reread my response and realized it was pressent tense (English, *sigh*). My Dad went over to Spain for a several months to help a missionary family get settled, like close to twenty-five years ago, so something’s have probably changed. =] I have seen a bunch of pictures though, and seriously, those castles are beautiful.

Koshka replied to the topic Forgiveness Character arc in the forum Plotting 4 years, 4 months ago
Hmm, forgiveness character arcs. There aren’t a lot of well written ones that I’ve read, but The Viking Quest, Broken Bow by LaJoyce Martin, and Ben-Hur (although I highly recommend listening to the Focus on the Family audiobook instead of the actual book) were all good. Sir Kendrick and the Battle of Belion, The Green Ember…[Read more]
