Yeah, rabbits aren’t usually used beyond the cute fluffies that live in Beatrix Potter. That’s part of the irony equipped in Green Ember. Helpless bunnies face monsterously huge predator/enemies and fight back.

Ah, the Ninjago line was a joke, haha.

The Fangs in Wingfeather Saga reminded me of the snake creatures in Ninjago, so I thought I’d make a little joke about it.

But yeah, sometimes jokes get misinterpreted when it’s in writing like this, haha.

Me too. Especially when it’s unexpected, like when it appears that the antagonist has “bested” the protagonist, but then in a few words that changes. XD

Wow, that’s cool, @keilah-h! I like the vibrant colors. The illustration in the book is only black and white, so it’s nice to see it in color. I actually always thought his feathers were white or something, I didn’t realize they were grey like that.

Yeah, that kind of tongue-in-cheek wit is a bit prevalent in my writing. It’s not always a good thing…but I like it here. 😉
