your life fell apart? Aww, man. Dude, I can relate. One time, I was making a sandwich. It was gonna be a really good sandwich ya know? With ham. turkey? I think probably some salami as well. What kind of cheese? Probably some cheddar. We didn’t have any mayo. So I went to put some mustard on it, as you do. And as I was pouring,…[Read more]

Wassup bros.
As you may have noticed, I haven’t been posting on the forum lately.
This is due to a sudden change in my life. It’s a very personal topic, so I’m uncomfortable speaking of it. However it must be speaked of. I can’t keep quiet any longer.
I am now a certified gym bro.
And the truth is, at times my muscles are too big to reach the…[Read more]

I watched the SAO anime series up to the end of the Gungale arc. My cousin kinda got sick of cutting so much stuff at that point, fair enough😂.
Yeah, my brother loves Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood. He says it’s like one of his favourite animes, and perhaps the best anime he’s ever seen. He once found a meme he who…[Read more]

- The Heroic Legend of Arslan
- Toradora!
- Sword Art Online (heavily edited to make it PG)
- Your Name (favourite anime movie ever!)
- Violet EvergardenÂ

Okay so first of all, I love this! The prologue was very poetic and although it wasn’t evident that the characters were wolves until the line of wolfish pride was mentioned, I thought it was very good. (Love that line btw).
Alright so here’s a weird thing I love looking at in fiction: the weather. I adored the weather and the aes…[Read more]

Yeah, the second season has a lot more drama. But the mangas go way further in the story than the anime, so I’m really enjoying reading them! (We’re up to 16 in English, now, cause I can’t read Japanese that well😅😂)
Yeah, Shirayuki’s character growth — she kinda doesn’t develop a lot for a bit. But in the mangas, after where the a…[Read more]

thank you for the kind words, Kathleen! John 14 is a wonderful idea. it’s hard to always remember that God is there, but what you said is so true. now that i think about it, songs are the main things that come on and remind me of the truth. “water under the bridge” is what my mom likes to say, when life is hard sometimes. thank…[Read more]

I look forward to it!😁
I’m thinking of making this it’s own topic sometime, but do you think it’s cool to write fantasy as a Christian that’s not overtly Christian and isn’t really about the characters’ faith or the Creator in their world, but has a lot of Christian themes in it, like hope, sacrifice, good family relationshi…[Read more]

Bree … one of my favourite female characters to this day.😊
And Mikkel — he has such a great character arc! I also really loved his eventual brother-like relationship with Devin. And Devin and Bree’s relationship is great, too!
I love how non-soppy the romance is in this series is. It also grows so gradually and naturally — somethi…[Read more]

Trahia the Minstrel replied to the topic What's an unexpected benefit you got from writing? in the forum Topic of the Week 3 years ago
I think the thing that writing taught me was first of all, like you said, how to understand different people and their motivations and how nobody thinks of themselves as a bad guy, but also secondly, how God is looking after us.
Think about it. When we write stories, we put our characters through all kinds of pain and suffering,…[Read more]
