If any School-Papers come a squelching I’ll be ready!
I will remember that. XD
There is waayyy too much literature that isn’t literature in YA fic. We need more good books!
Thank you! Those are my absolute favorite themes EVER. You have to publish your books soon, cause I would definitely like to…[Read more]

That makes it easier. Sort of. You see, I have read books where a set of twins have grown up together, and are close, but when the author killed one he/she cried for like a couple days and was absolutely FINE! That makes no sense for friends let alone twins or siblings! They should have been crushed, permanently changed, grieving. Real…[Read more]

YOU’RE KILLING OFF HER TWIN!!! (From a twin)
Ok, that’s going to be hard to write. A quick question; are you familiar with twins/know real life twins?

WFR sounds like an amazing book!
A few things I love about my books;
The themes good/evil, sacrifice, redemption, trusting God even with death, and His presence even in the worst of storms, how a good God can allow bad things to happen, faith even when it seems useless, there is nothing that He can’t forgive. So, yeah, I have a…[Read more]

UGH, yes! It gets so hard sometimes to simply put three sentences on a page and KEEP them there. Ok, I’ll not to. =]
I know!
Good! 500 woods is an achievement when one hasn’t been writing much at all.

It is the funniest book title acronym I’ve ended up with so far. Heart of Gold Heart of Stone. I haven’t used it much, but that title is Loooooong!
How is my WIP going? We’ll, I’ve gotten some stuff straighted out recently, but no actual writing. In fact I haven’t written any more on my books for over three months, I think. It’s…[Read more]

Haha, that’s awesome! (Author madness: That’s a wonderfully perfect description of my mind)
Sort of. At least, so far I don’t intend to actually write any of it into a separate book, which means most of it no one but my family will have to listen to. HOGHOS is partially the retaking of an overthrown kingdom, so of course I have…[Read more]

To be honest, I have yet to actually write any Historical Fiction books, but I am working on one. I love history, especially weird random stories, so it’s been fun!
I love the wingfeather world too, so much so that I had to pay close attention toy own world building to make sure it wasn’t influenced. XD Peterson did such a…[Read more]

So, I got pulled in by the title. Most ‘modern’ fantasy (or what ever this type is) I’ve picked up I’ve almost instantly put down feeling sick. This was light-hearted and meaningful, and… I don’t know. I read everything you had posted in like twenty minutes.

Hmm… Magic in today. A world with the technology of a hyper civilization, yet the magic of fairy tales. Ooo… I’ve never been much into sci-fi but that sounds interesting.
Ugh, yeah. I had to narrow down. Right now I’m working on a Trilogy which has probably been taking way too long to write. The first two books are Medieval…[Read more]

Hello, I’m Koshka, a Homeschooler, Bible Quizzer, and Aspiring Author. I write Medieval Fantasy, Historical Fiction, and the rare verse or four of Poetry.
You’re reading The Wingfeather Saga? How do you like it so far? I’ve read the entire series and loved it. It’s hard to find such good fantasy, even in a Christian bookstore.

*Grins* Thanks!
A poetical mood had me captive. My best (and worst) writing comes from those. =|
Ah, yes, I like Jolly Ranchers, especially the green apple ones. You?
If you could have any animal real or otherwise as a pet what would it be?

Haha, IÂ know! But then continuations are fun to write. If you want to read some there are a couple links in the Wingfeather topic under book review stuff. My sister and I wrote one of them.
Have you read Wingfeather Tales?

Hello! I am Koshka, or at least that’s what I’m called around here. Nice to meet you, Lavender!
Oh yeah, that bio thing can be a little confusing. At any rate, you did fine.

Oh yes!
*Sigh* I’m not entirely sure. By the time I reached The Warden and the Wolf King, I already loved the characters, especially Janner and Kalmar. Their development throughout the series climaxes at points in the last book, and sometimes you really question if certain charries are going to make it or find ‘healing’. And then…[Read more]

I’m a little off and on with my writing too, although I’m consistently thinking about it. I just can’t seem to write it much.

Good question. So, this is a point in which they’re rather human. All creatures used to worship God, but as time passes many forgot their Creator. This is actually one of the things so terribly wrong with the wolfish government, one of the trials my characters have to face this setting isn’t all that different from this world in…[Read more]

You profile pic is so pretty, and your books sound interesting.
I like to write plays. I want to write novels. Here is the series I’m working on.
The first two my series are set in a medieval time period, while the last is sort of World War/War on Terror time. I am using animal characters (sort of like Green Ember or Redwall)…
