Thank you so much! Yeah, I see. In my mind’s eye I see him standing there a moment perplexed while all the other Novak warriors chase the kids… But I didn’t make that very clear did I? 😉 I’ll work on that!
Thank you again!(and yeah, a lot of my ideas center around emotion)

@everyone
Sorry for the late reply, I’ve had a busy couple of days.
That picture is gorgeous! So cute! You’re a really good artist.😊 And I love Trumpkin.
I love your main character’s name. I feel like the cat is an interesting character …😁 And I love that you have a character called Nyx too!

@kathleenramm Sorry, but I don’t have a pancake. Perhaps try IHOP.
@anatra23 I recommend not trying to translate it. It appears that the code got corrupted at some point in time (
last time I trust a morse code translator.jk I’ll probably use it again 😜.) -

@godlyfantsay12
thank you! This’ll be a welcome challenge.
@anatra23 I’ve read a few of the Redwall books, namely Redwall, Mossflower, The Bellmaker, and that one about the baggers where that lord fellow falls off a cliff 😉 . I haven’t read any in a while though.
Have you read Mistmantle? My brother liked them but didn’t get hooked, while we did.

@anatra23 Thx, tho I can’t take credit for the pic lol! Found it online! That’s just what fennec foxes look like! Aren’t they gorgeous and adorable? I love them!! (I plan to own one! In the state I live it’s not illegal, and there is a breeder 3 and a half hours away from me, tho they are expensive being an exotic pet and all)

Okay! Hi! I’ve made this topic so we can all put up the premises of our WIPs or anything else we’ve worked on in the last or are thinking of working on in the future. Hopefully we can all enjoy a huge nerd with each other about all our stories!😊
Here’s the premise I’m working on for my current novel:
A Usurper’s Heir. A True Prince. Two Families,…[Read more] -

Oh dear. Well that’s comforting, in a weird sort of way. I “probably” have errors of technique too.

I thought I was! =) Now that I deal with such delightful 7 year olds at church…
Every 12-18 months? Ok, I should be able to accommodate that.

Hi, and thank you!
I’m, I don’t believe it’s a full size orchestra violin, but it was large to be a student. I am small myself, and only just fitting it right although I’ve had it since I was seven. My grandfather plays, and he gave me it. This year he replaced the strings with new nylon steel ones.
The rosin I have is old, so that…[Read more]

@anatra23 Yes, I’m doing a round of beta reading for it now, and then I’ll probably do another couple of editing passes, maybe one more round of beta readers, before trying to pitch it to agents. It’s 180k words, though, so I’m gonna have to be creative and precise in order to sell them on it — YA fantasy isn’t normally that longὠ…[Read more]

At least he dies late in the book? Or perhaps that makes it worse. Yes, he will be missed, but Viktor needs to be who he was made to be, and Ruben wouldn’t want to go any other way.
@lydia-s I know this is random, but I didn’t realize you had read the Green Ember etc. What is your favorite character/lines? We love Helmer and Jo Shanks.…[Read more]

In Russian the words are ‘supposed’ to be spelled the way they sound, all except those thousands of exceptions… *sigh*. If you mean words from other languages, than yes.

@anatra23  Thanks! Tbh, I didn’t really think about it much, I just made up the names lol😂 But when I was trying to figure out how to spell the names, I was listening to my older sister (who’s a linguist) talking about International Phonetic Alphabet’s pronunciation. She said in that, the vowel I generally makes an ‘ee’ sou…[Read more]
