Sure, I’ll ask Paul some questions!

Hello, Paul. It’s nice to make your acquaintance.

Where are you from?

Do you have a family? Are there any people who have influenced your life positively, and who are they?

Would you tell me about this siege you’re preparing for?

That was a bit of a long response but this is the film thoughts and reviews topic, haha. @eliasg I would love to hear your thoughts!

@eliasg

Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey.

I wrote out a detailed response to this, but my post didn’t go through. 😒 So I’ll try again.

I think it’s a flawed adaptation but a quality modern film. It is very stylistically “Christopher Nolan” which is exactly why it is flawed yet still quality.

As an adaptation, it gets several things wrong – the b…[Read more]

I think KP ate my message… sorry if you get this twice…

@bilbo-baggins

HUMPH! So it seems, but I WILL NOT ALLOW THAT!

*nod nod* Oh, Odyssey… We really want to play that. We’re saving money rn so we can’t but it’s been pretty high on my to-buy list for a while. Mm, it and Arms. Mario Galaxy looks fun, might add that to the list too!! Wonder…[Read more]

Welcome to KP @renegade!!! So glad to have you!

Okiii, some questions for you!

oof, such a long-ish message, sorry about that…

@bilbo-baggins

Ugh yeah, I probably won’t by a switch two for it either, because I feel like there aren’t enough games that my brother and I would actually play on it.

Yeah.. thats real.

Nintendo needs to make more new interesting games. And maybe make them (local) multiplayer… idk what happened to games being more than one player?? And may…[Read more]

Yes of course!!!

About two years ago, my mom was diagnosed with Mantle Cell Lymphoma. It was pretty bad, she had to go to MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas (a LONG ways from Montana where we live!) and get some treatment because her cancer was really severe. Mantle Cell Lymphoma alone is very aggressive, and my mom also had…[Read more]

Yeah! I think I’ve only seen the first trailer, but I think it looks pretty good! My brother said it seems like a lot of devs are starting to use Unreal Engine to make games, so they’re all starting to look the same a bit, and we were slightly surprised that Nintendo was using it too. But it’s cool, I like the realistic-y angle f…[Read more]

YES COMICS COUNT! I actually haven’t read a lot of comics. The only one I’ve read was a Super Mario one when I was younger (Just like I love LOTR, I also love Nintendo. Specifically Mario and Zelda). I haven’t heard of the comics you mentioned! And don’t worry about fiction/non-fiction… I’ve literally only read maybe…

In his world “elf” is a racial slur. *narrows eyes at Koshka*

Of course it is. XD I will never speak that word around Inglor again.

He has heightened senses generally, talks to trees, and is ridiculously agile.

So Inglor is a monkey. 😀

For instance, a stranger traveling through the Wode expects to see lots of animals, maybe a r…

Wouldn’t it be great to own an ice cream or candy shop, and spend your days making pretty treats?

@stellybean

…If cereal has a lot of milk, is it a soup?

Hmm. I don’t know. It’s not cooked, so I’m a little skeptical. Not to mention, soup is savory. But I am willing to be persuaded.

……Are burritos/tacos a sandwich?

Decidedly no. Sandwiches are made from two pieces of bread with another type of food in between them.

………Is ice cream beautiful?…

I have a lot of things to thank God for, and this is certainly one of them. I can practically feel your radioactive energy shooting out of my screen.

I actually have neutral opinions when it comes…[Read more]

Hello noob. You sound cool. :]

I must ask, how would you explain your summer novel, comic, D&D campaign, and metroidvania? Give me a little summary of each one, if you like. Or not. Whatever you would deign to tell a stranger.

It sounds like a challenge to combine steampunk, which is a genre built around retrofuturism and the…[Read more]

See, a perfect sphere is pretty, but something broken, something sharp – that could cut bonds.

Aaaahhh.

This is not just a straightforward evolution. You’re smelting off the dross.

Inglor is an elfling? Does he have any fantastical elvish abilities or talents?

…And this is the French Revolution? O.O

Ye. The whole story feels…[Read more]
