Elishavet- yup! It’s the first destined book! And it’s just like the first draft I’ve ever truly “finished” like there are still scenes needing to be added and stuff, but it’s mostly cohesive.…[Read more]

Portals: When My Story Ate Me. The serial story I’ve semi-periodically shared on here. I should work on HoA(Viktor’s story), but I have zero motivation for that one. They’re just sitting in a friend’s shop at the moment waiting for their parents to find them. Portals is a more manageable size, so little bites first.

I love collecting ideas from novels published between from the 1910s-50s. Mostly 40s and 50s. I keep notes from them in a notebook and I’ve done this for months; it’s a lot of fun. I often collect dialogue because there’s something very identifiable about fictional dialogue from that time.
Oh, I like this idea. That is epic. I’ve n…[Read more]

This probably isn’t even a wolf-focused story, but I’ll guess The Wolf Wilder because I want you to look it up and read it. It’s so good.
This is precisely why I picked vague quotes. Need good book recommendations. XD
Hmm, looks like you got a few right. I shall refrain from sharing answers for a day in case someone finds this randomness.

Lol. Latin is fascinating.
Collecting slang sounds brilliant and fun. *Takes recommendation* I’ve played with coloquialisms a little, but in a useful way. I shall have to try that.
What’s your favorite word biome so far?
*peers through the glitter*
Wow. Grammar is interesting, but I haven’t done work in it. Your conlags…[Read more]

Mel
Mel seemed almost hesitant at first as she approached the crow, but as she reached out and touched its beak, a huge grin appeared on her face. She reached farther, petting the feathers on the crow’s neck and made her way to its shoulder, where she giggled and buried her head in its soft feathers. Somehow, the bird allowed this,…[Read more]

I wrote this while half awake and questioning reality so I hope it’s somewhat good.
Mel
Scissors? Mel took her garden shears out of her pocket, confused. They were tiny.
But somehow, they did the trick. Though size was not on their side, they were three against two, and soon, three against one. Mel cheered as the second crow took…[Read more]

@whalekeeper Sorryyy I read your post and then promptly fell asleep for an hour and a half with my phone still in my hand. Yes I do want to continue to rp. I should have something done soon, though there’s a chance I might fall asleep again so maybe expect something from me tomorrow.

Describe the dynamic between Protectors and Menders. I’ve never heard of this system before. What is your society like?
Leander smiles and nods. “I’ll explain the best I can. At Eldallion’s beginning, the Belnayan Protectors and Menders were put in the world to… not rule it, but to keep its order. Every race of Protector and Me…[Read more]

Sennin, what kind of hybrid are you?
“I’m half Argonite, half Changeling.” The scales on his tail ripple into a similar color as the floor beneath them, before fading back into their typical dark blue-green. The orange stripes take a bit longer to reappear, creating a weird effect. “Mum was the Changeling. My…[Read more]

There are no deadlines. :]
Alright! Thanks. XD
Also, I entirely forgot to mention that Leander is about 18.
So, Leander, why are you green?? I feel the need to ask. I’m sure you get that question a lot.
Leander is willing to converse, and a smile quickly appears after the question. “People in the past millennia have formed their o…[Read more]

This interview is making me do more research lol.
What are bat folktales like? I’ve never heard one before.
They’re very vivid and lyrical. We usually tell them in rhymes. * chirp-whistles a few lines* I don’t remember the one my name is from, only that is is about mice and guardian angels. There might be a scorpion in it t…[Read more]

Ok… I’ll talk to Cosmo a bit, then get back to Angelo.
“Nice to meet you too!” Cosmo shakes your hand and hugs himself, the patchwork sleeves of his jacket bunching up. “Please sit down anywhere. My day was good.”

•Are you and Nahim similar ages?
“I’m 5 and a half years older, though he often acts twice his age, ya know?”
•How would you describe yourself in the context of your family? What role do you play?
Mandin’s gaze drifted to the side again. “I’m the second child, but my sister and father aren’t on…the best terms, so my fat…[Read more]
