A lot of people on here have been asking each other for prayers for certain things. I wanted to make a topic where we can all put in our prayer requests together. That way, when we are praying, we only need to look at this one topic to remember all the requests. We can also post updates on answered prayers or things that we are thankful for as well if we want.
I’m trying to get into a better habit of praying, and I think having this to check on and pray through sometimes would be really helpful to me and hopefully helpful to others too.
(I hope that all makes sense. Sorry, I’m tired.)
So, that being said, I would really appreciate some prayer for my family and I right now, especially for my mom and dad. I don’t really want to elaborate. God knows the details.
And if anyone else wants prayer, you can post it here and I’d be happy to pray for you. 💕

I’ve…I need prayer. If anyone’s noticed my updates on my profile that occasionally pop up, you’ve probably already guessed I’ve been going through something, and you’d be correct. Behind RAE is someone who feels lost in a fog, and can’t get out…someone who feels alone inside. On the outside, my life has been ocean waves. I won’t say more than this: “A house divided against itself cannot stand.” So…in closong, I’m just gonna ask for prayer, cuz at this point, I don’t know really what else to do…

I just….today’s been a crappy day.
Lately I’ve been struggling with feeling alone. At the public school I go to, I really don’t have any friends. Everyone thinks I’m weird since I don’t do sports. I get called a nerd, weird, and just ignored, because I just so happen to enjoy writing, reading, and learning.
People claim to be my friends, but they’re really not. Everyone think’s I’m friends with them, but I really just tag along with them because I don’t want to sit alone with lunch. They make inappropriate jokes, talk about things I don’t want to talk about, swear, and all the while claim to be Christians. I feel trapped because if I stop being around them, they’ll get mad at me and I don’t want any drama. They’re the same people who’ve hurt me in the past, and I don’t want to be hurt again. so idk what else to do.
But they’re really not good friends for me. I don’t know what to do. Either way it feels like I lose….
And to cope with all this I write. My characters are my friends. They don’t hurt me, they can’t betray me, and I am in control. But it gets to the point where I’m totally relying on writing, and don’t know how to have relationships with people, and it’s not healthy how much writing means to me. And then I feel like I’m nothing without writing.
Because I’ll be like “hey, people hate me because I suck at sports, but at least I can write!” or “I might be alone, but at least I can write!” and I don’t like how much I rely on writing. I feel trapped, not just because of the situation at school, but because I feel like I’m trapping myself with writing, too.
I know I’m not alone and God is with me, but it’s just hard. Kids can be brutal, and I just want out of this school. But if I leave school, then there’s more drama. I go to a small school, so everybody knows everybody, so it makes it harder.
Sorry, guys that was really long, but yeah. I could really use some prayer XD

I’m sorry about that. I find it weird and dumb how there are kids who are so obsessed with sports and look down on more “academic” things (honestly what are they doing at school?) I’m sorry you feel trapped. I can’t tell you what you should do about it, because public school is completely outside of my experiences, but I’m praying you get through this! Remember that God’s opinion of you matters so much more than the opinions of a bunch of kids.
