You wrote more than 50k words, which is a lot of emotional effort when writing the series of your dreams. So first off, that’s awesome. You’ll have plenty of material to edit. You’re definitely burnt out from that. That sounds normal to me.
I’m currently at an ADORABLE bookshop/cafe and slowly wanting and feeling the nudge to g…

Callum
The Stormwatcher legacy was impressive. Scary, even. Callum could imagine having visions, since he already knew half of the experience. Ellis had something to contribute to his family – something helpful. Maybe it didn’t require much ingenuity, which was something Callum needed because he had no born powers. But it sounded…[Read more]

@ellette-giselle Hey Ellette, I thought this would strike you as funny. I always delete my notification emails for KP, to clear space, and I was cleaning out my email today. And somehow came across this. You tagged me on this update a year ago. XD I never responded, so uh, hey. What’s your question?
If you even remember what it was, that is… -

Let your crew know. You shouldn’t be concerned about how strong or weak you look. That’s a minor issue. Falling over is a major issue. I’m not trying to wildly speculate, but isn’t there a possibility that you lose balance on a boat and pitch over? If you don’t tell anyone, there’s a risk of hitting your head or worse.
Many, many people…[Read more]

Oh yeah, a group project like that sounds super stressful. Glad that’s over.
Video game project? I didn’t know you dabbled in that. (Or maybe you’ve mentioned it and I woefully forgot.) That is cool. What kind of video game? There are so many kinds and I usually assume 2D platformer when people say that, but that’s just because I’m a big Hollow Kn…[Read more] -

Callum
Somewhere in Callum’s echoing headspace, Ellis’ voice rose to the surface. It took a minute to process everything he said. He was friendly. Understanding, even.
It was rather dark outside, and crickets had begun their evening song, but lamps lit up the bench from either side. The lights were like splotches of butter-colored pai…[Read more]

There are lots of different options and I don’t know who to pick. Do you prefer drawing children, or older teens/adults? And do you prefer drawing realistic humans?
Fair warning. I began on Wolfgang twice, and I don’t like either attempt. I’ve been really tired this past week. So it won’t be done as soon as I’d like

K! That would be fun. I’ll find a few dates and propose them on the topic where we normally talk about this.

Yeah it’s crazy. Luckily the AI can’t access everything, and what it can see is very jumbled up. I think it can only see our profile pages and some of the posts underneath. I tried asking it more detailed questions and it couldn’t answer them correctly.
What did y’all use? Ch…

Lucille
Soldier was so big and blustering, it was hard not to jump when he said something. Lucy still held Mel, but the two of them shuffled closer to look.
The stone pathway looked friendly enough, clearing away the silvery green moss and grass, and leading to the quaint red door. It had indeed appeared out of nowhere.…[Read more]

Hey Jonas! I’m glad you’re alive. Do let us know how the writing goes, even if you don’t get a goal done within a specific summer. :] We’ve all tried to write a book in a summer with various levels of success, and at least it gives you a better perspective on how you can avoid burning out next time.
I think everyone’s doing fine. Not as many peop…[Read more]-
Life’s good. This last semester of school felt like it dragged on for SO long, so it’s nice to be on break. I had a couple of big projects that were a bit stressful. The main one was a semester-long software development project that I had to do as part of a group.
I kind of squandered a lot of time last summer, so, like I said, I’m trying to be…[Read more]

Oh yeah, video game design is one of my majors. (I forget who knows what about me.)
It is a 2D platformer, but it’s a bit odd, because the character you control is a ball and you can only move it by using a grapple to swing around. And then there’s a lot of normal platformer obstacles: spikes, spinning blades, falling boulders, etc.

Change of topic because now I’m frustrated at the internet.
Would anyone be interested in a zoom/google call specifically meant to be a writing session for anyone to join?

I have a feeling there’s a way to do it, but it would probably mean major website changes and no one is able to do that right now

Yeah it freaked me out a little. It did hallucinate some stuff as well, like a side character that doesn’t exist
I wish the forum wasn’t so open to the internet. Like yeah, I doubt anyone would steal anything we’re doing because it’s such a tiny forum tucked inside this website. But AI is still able to make an overview
