@elfwing Like I said, lizards (and regular lizards—not dragons). But I don’t see a lot of regular birds, like puffins or flamingos or emus. Those would be cool.

So since my first try at this got mark as spam (I didn’t taste it to find out if it were true) I’m trying again,
Greetings, I am Power (a.k.a. The Black Mongoose). I was homeschool all my life and am going to be attending a community college in the fall. I enjoy studying old weapons, how they work, and the strategies behind how they were used in…[Read more] -

Here’s some Green Embers poetry
Morbin
The big black bird
High in the sky
His sickle swings
And rabbits do cry
The fear of his talon
His mighty screech
His sharp beak
His far reach
All in Morbin
Just a bird
But for miles
His cry can be heard
So this is why
The rabbits fear
Because a hawk
Can destroy what’s dear
But I…[Read more]

I love lizards, so….Those might be too close to dragons though. I love creating half man, half animal species for my stories…..like centaurs with the bodies of dinosaurs instead of horses

Keilah H. replied to the topic Adding another perspective to my book? in the forum General Writing Discussions 5 years, 2 months ago
I have so many stories I can’t even remember the last time I wrote in some of them.
But that wasn’t your point, right? I usually have only a few different perspectives in my stories, but you can have as many as you want! I’d just warn you that you probably should keep the number of PoVs low, and make it clear whose perspective you’re in, so your…[Read more]

@hallie-jean Thanks for the kind words! I also only dabble in poetry, here and there, once a blue moon (I “might” have chosen my best ones for my grand entry 🙄(Have to make a good impression right!)).
And no, I don’t think it’s bad that you relate to them. These poems in particular were written at times when I was feeling some of the emo…[Read more] -

Poem Unamed
I am just a boy Not brave or strong
I have some Fears, things I’m not fondDark and Beneath
But mostly of the things other People may see
if they look deeper, inside of me.
I’m scared if I talk, I’ll be thought a fool
If they knew
How I can be Fears tool
How it Manipulates, Twists, and Stabs
I long it’s something, I Didn’t…[Read more]

@elfwing Star Wars, Tron, Marvel, the Warriors and Wings of Fire book series….and more I don’t remember. Often I combine two different fandoms.

@elfwing I’ve done war stories too, sometimes. But on fanfictions, I actually find them easier than regular stories because I have readymade characters, and if I want to add more I have “templates.”

@devastate-lasting It’s okay to retell Biblical stories in a different way, like fantasy or sci-fi or in a different historical time period.

I’m pretty sure almost all my arcs are positive ones. (I’m the person who writes a redemption arc, albeit a pretty badly done one, for the villain of my favorite movie.) Most of my stories aren’t meant to be published (they’re mostly fanfictions anyway) but I try to give most of my characters a chance to either have a happy ending if they’re good…[Read more]

Keilah H. replied to the topic Questions on drafts and beginnings… in the forum General Writing Discussions 5 years, 2 months ago
I just write my stories and then edit them. Many of my novel length stories are fanfictions anyway, but I try to make them good, even if nobody’s going to read them. I think “first draft” is whenever you begin writing the story rather than just planning it out, whether that’s a short version or the whole 500-page thing. I often notice that I’m…[Read more]

I would call the authorities ASAP. Cipher (the villain me and my brother created) is too much of a threat to be free. A minor antagonist, like not a villain but not a good guy either, like Bristlecone, I’d probably give her some tuna and milk (she’s an alley cat) and send her on her way.

Idk man… dorito is only for the high class, so unless you got two hands rather then one, I don’t think you’ll be seeing the inside of a dorito factory anytime soon.
Sorry, #twohandsgangboiiiii
