Poem Unamed
I am just a boy Not brave or strong
I have some Fears, things I’m not fond
Dark and Beneath
But mostly of the things other People may see
if they look deeper, inside of me.
I’m scared if I talk, I’ll be thought a fool
If they knew
How I can be Fears tool
How it Manipulates, Twists, and Stabs
I long it’s something, I Didn’t have
Sometimes I wish I could just see
The True warrior
Hidden inside me
When I draw my Sword
The fear I strike
In the hord
The true strength, Nothing Could Fight!
but,
but,
Right now, I can only see
the weakness, and fear
in front of me.
Selah
War, WAR, The paradox of War
the shedding of Blood, Understand what’s in Store
Those who you fight, with blade lifted High
Are just like You
they Live, Bleed, Die.
and for What?
The claiming of Land,
Revenge for a Blow,
or Stubborn Stand,
I’m Not saying, Do Not Fight
But before you do
STOP!
are You in the right?
Protecting a friend, and not Selfish endeavors,
Standing for the Weak, not pride that says Never.
If you’re in the right, Fight on my friend
just figure out what you’re fighting for
Before the End.
A ship, Without a Rudder, will go off course. The same goes, for a Brideless Horse.
A Warriors Heart
I stand Here.
looking at this chaos.
and inside of Me.
the Heart of Warrior beats.
How can I watch the Fear?
with the blood of Love
Running through My veins
There’s a Rising.
to Protect the oppressed.
I Can’t Silence It!
even to protect my own Freedom.
But I have a feeling.
if I Can’t speak
I must Hide my emotions.
am I Really free?
I can Free my heart.
But outside be Bound.
Or physically be Loosed.
But inside be Wreathed In Chains.
maybe I should just Forget It.
Someone else Will stand.
but am not I
someone else to someone
If they are all like me
No one will rise
AaaahrrrRR!

These are amazing (HUGE understatement)!!!!! I’m no poet, but I like to dabble in poetry every once in a while! And when I do, I definitely enjoy it! It sounds like you really do! Is it bad to say I relate to the words you wrote a lot??? XD

-gladiator, 2000@hallie-jean Thanks for the kind words! I also only dabble in poetry, here and there, once a blue moon (I “might” have chosen my best ones for my grand entry 🙄(Have to make a good impression right!)).
And no, I don’t think it’s bad that you relate to them. These poems in particular were written at times when I was feeling some of the emotions in them. They were kind of a way to release those emotions.
I have written more, and they aren’t all as dark as these one (not as good though, in my opinion 😆). I have a few humorous ones up my sleeve.
Woe to the ferret who only eats carrots
His life won’t be very long.
But woe to the carrot to only eats ferrets
I don’t believe he’s where he belongs!
@nova21 Not really, it would be interesting. I’m wanting to write a series of books I might call The Miska Chronicles, but I’m a lot better at creating a world and telling people about it than I’m at actually putting it on paper (for example, I could tell you all the king and queen and most of their children for the past 300 years, but have less than 1,000 words of story, actually written).

Here’s some Green Embers poetry
Morbin
The big black bird
High in the sky
His sickle swings
And rabbits do cry
The fear of his talon
His mighty screech
His sharp beak
His far reach
All in Morbin
Just a bird
But for miles
His cry can be heard
So this is why
The rabbits fear
Because a hawk
Can destroy what’s dear
But I know
The end of his tale
How a rabbit
Will impale
Prey
That’s what he seeks
Morbin thought he was strong
The problem was…
They weren’t weak
The Wolf’s Woe
O Me, O My
Why won’t these rabbits Die?
Red Eye our king has fallen
I know it sounds appalling
but it is true
that bunny crew
Abounds in spite of our Gnawin!
Picket Packslayer
the Fierce Flying Fiend
is responsible
for Everything!
We Slash
and Bite!
but all they do is Fight!
Run rabbit Run!
Let US now have some fun.
We’ve called birds,
but they go POOF.
The rabbits say,
we’re just a goof.
It’s not fair!
Everything is contradicting,
not what I was predicting!
Wolf plus rabbit
Equals happy Wolf!
Rabbit plus sword
just hurt to oneself
O, I Abhor the Gourd!
who first gave
a Rabbit a Sword!
Rejoin, Retake, Rebuild
Come ye buck, Gather O doe
Lower your fists, Let anger go
Fighting against, one another
Will Only hurt, Your sister
Your brother
Turn and join, right beside
Your kinsman, Do not hide
Any malice, Hate or Pain
Please forgive, let it Drain
Now trust, in that one
Back to back as they come
The foe tall we will beat
They will fall at our feet
Now drop the spear
The sword, the mace
Grab a hammer
and Bandage the face
Create a kingdom
Of mercy, and love
Base it off
The Kingdom above
Now relaxing, but don’t forget

Haven’t read the Green Ember series, but now I definitely want to!!! Those poems were pretty great!
