So, I got pulled in by the title. Most ‘modern’ fantasy (or what ever this type is) I’ve picked up I’ve almost instantly put down feeling sick. This was light-hearted and meaningful, and… I don’t know. I read everything you had posted in like twenty minutes.

Hmm… Magic in today. A world with the technology of a hyper civilization, yet the magic of fairy tales. Ooo… I’ve never been much into sci-fi but that sounds interesting.
Ugh, yeah. I had to narrow down. Right now I’m working on a Trilogy which has probably been taking way too long to write. The first two books are Medieval…[Read more]

Hello, I’m Koshka, a Homeschooler, Bible Quizzer, and Aspiring Author. I write Medieval Fantasy, Historical Fiction, and the rare verse or four of Poetry.
You’re reading The Wingfeather Saga? How do you like it so far? I’ve read the entire series and loved it. It’s hard to find such good fantasy, even in a Christian bookstore.

*Grins* Thanks!
A poetical mood had me captive. My best (and worst) writing comes from those. =|
Ah, yes, I like Jolly Ranchers, especially the green apple ones. You?
If you could have any animal real or otherwise as a pet what would it be?

@elishavet-pidyon Sure does! And actually, I digitally traced him from a picture, colored him in, and added my own personal touch. But thanks!

@lana-blanchard Cool! I’m a medicine cat too. Which clan would you likely be in? From there I could figure out a name for you.
Are you kidding? Loki was absolutely hilarious! And now that I’ve watched it I can keep up with my friends, who happen to be obsessed with it. (Side note–I gave them warrior names: Thorblaze and Lokitooth. I do that…[Read more]

Please forgive the “,?” after Bible bowler. It was supposed to be a “!”, but apparently technology is trying to embarrass me.

Aaaaah! Alas, I’ve been falling down on my work! (Stalking the halls of KP and pouncing on unsuspecting newcomers, BWAHAHAHA…err hi 👋) Woe is I! This topic was posted almost 24 hour ago, and I haven’t bored the poster of it with my banter!
Okay, so now that I have finished lamenting and bemoaning my failure, It would probably be a good time to…[Read more]

You have to finish the Wingfeather Saga! It is SO GOOD!!! It gets better as it progresses too. The ending of the last book is so heartbreaking, but also so beautiful… Anyway, if I keep talking about this, I’m going to spoil it for you, so I better stop.
Yeah, the worlds Tolkien and Lewis created are so awesome. I just recently…[Read more]

Yeah, peacocks rule! I was super surprised when we pulled ahead at the last minute.
I actually haven’t heard of most of the authors you mentioned, except for Andrew Peterson. I’ve also heard of some of Beverly Lewis’s books, but I’ve never read any.
So if you like Andrew Peterson… have you read the Wingfeather Saga? It’s my…[Read more]

Welcome! I’m Annabelle, and I’m relatively new here too. I also participated in CWW, and it was my first time this year. Which team were you on? I was on the peacocks!
What kind of books do you like to read? Who are some of your favorite authors?
Again, it’s nice to meet you! See you around the forums!

Yeah, continuations of WFS are so fun! I wrote one a few years ago, but it’s probably lost somewhere on my computer… Anyway, I’ll look in the Wingfeather topic and read your stuff.
I have read Wingfeather Tales! It wasn’t as moving as the main book series, but it was still great.

Haha, IÂ know! But then continuations are fun to write. If you want to read some there are a couple links in the Wingfeather topic under book review stuff. My sister and I wrote one of them.
Have you read Wingfeather Tales?

The writer part of me knows you’re right, but the reader part still is hungry for more Wingfeather. LOL

Hello! I am Koshka, or at least that’s what I’m called around here. Nice to meet you, Lavender!
Oh yeah, that bio thing can be a little confusing. At any rate, you did fine.

I enjoyed the Left Behind series, and I would definitely recommend it. It was very adult in content, but it was still good. The last three or four books in the series, especially Armeggedon, were very violent, and there was a lot of torture and gory things. There are no illustrations in the book, thankfully, but you can still…[Read more]

Oh yes!
*Sigh* I’m not entirely sure. By the time I reached The Warden and the Wolf King, I already loved the characters, especially Janner and Kalmar. Their development throughout the series climaxes at points in the last book, and sometimes you really question if certain charries are going to make it or find ‘healing’. And then…[Read more]
