That’s cool! I enjoy hearing about your writing and your fantasy creatures.
I’ve heard of the Waterfire Saga, but I started to read it and I wasn’t really keen on all the witches and magic stuff. (I know, I write fantasy, but I do very minimal magic). But still, that’s good that it’s a YA, so maybe my book isn’t the…[Read more]

@koshka Yeah, I can totally get that feeling, but for me it’s the opposite: The oldest pieces of literature that I know for sure I’ve read are LOTR, Narnia, Edgar Allan Poe’s “The Raven,” and one or maybe two of Ayn Rand’s dystopias (but those aren’t that old, right?). I was actually reading Ayn Rand’s book Anthem because I wanted to get ideas…[Read more]

I haven’t been able to come up with anything you hadn’t already done, so I didn’t check this one. =]
Have you ever made up food for your books, and if so what was the weirdest?

@morgan Being a big brother is awesome! I love my sister’s, and enjoy poking them in the sides or patting them on the head. (though I have to be ready to retreat quickly if they decide to wreak vengeance upon me.) But even though I might annoy them at times, they are my closest friends. I tell them my stories (something I’m shy to do with my…[Read more]

If some random post that looks almost identical to this one appears, just now the form ate my response four times. I did copy it thankfully.
As Elishavet basically answered all your questions, I’ll just add a few things.
More specifically, how does the age difference affect your relationship and how far apart were you born?
If you are a…

If you are a brother or have a brother, I would greatly appreciate any and all information regarding your relationship.
I’m not sure if it’s the fact I’m…[Read more]

Oh, ok! =) That makes sense. I was wondering, and as nearly all (it isn’t much) the ‘sci-fi’ I’ve read was close to fifty years old I’d never heard of them.
That would be neat! I like looking at other people’s art, especially when it’s story inspired. Besides, Alan sounds like a neat subject for a drawing.

@annabelle Thanks! The Dragonmen and Ailurids were actually created for fanfictions, where I wanted to insert human characters in place of the animal characters but I loved the animal dynamics. Plus, wings and tails and cat ears just look plain cool. The Raptaurs were something I made up entirely for a story I wrote but never quite finished, which…[Read more]

@koshka A cyborg is a creature, usually human (or in Alan’s case a dragonman), who is partially made out of mechanical parts. Usually cyborgs come into being after a human/dragonman/whatever was badly injured somehow, often as a result of battle or an accident, and their missing body parts are replaced with mechanical ones. I didn’t make that…[Read more]

Of course you can join in!
I literally have one female MC. ONE. I don’t know what happened, and I’m not even sure she fits into the series. I have Five male characters, and I didn’t intend to write one of them. Well, that’s not counting my historical fiction novel that’s sitting on my back burner, but still, that wouldn’t…[Read more]

Pre warning you, this is going to be long.
No, I can’t. However as we know each other extremely well, one can tell when the other is in pain just by looking at her or hearing her voice. I’ve heard of that happening too, and, while I don’t doubt some of it may be true, I believe most stories like that are over exaggerated. It…[Read more]

Your WIP sounds so good! And don’t be too afraid that you don’t write. My first/second drafts of my novels always turn out horrible, but it’s a learning process and I’m able to correct them later.
Okay, so starting a blog isn’t exactly easy. I would recommend using either Wix for fast setup, or WordPress.com (but not…[Read more]

LOL that would be a great meme!
How many characters do you kill?! The way you’re talking it sounds like all your characters end up dead by the end of the story.

@godlyfantasy12 Crazy author brain!!!! Finally someone else who is like that! For me, my biggest thing is a lengthy Warrior Cats fanfiction. The real series has, like, 70 books counting side stories, so I’m glad I haven’t gotten to that point yet, but honestly I think I’m just giving every one of my favorite or most emotionally/physically tortured…[Read more]
