@skredder Actually, it would be kind of cool to have another Golden Retriever! 😀 Thanks!
@dekreel That is really cool. Lucky! 🙂 That sounds like an interesting dream. 😀
@supermonkey42 Thanks! Are you an R2, R3, R4, R5, or C1 unit? *geeks out about Star Wars*

@ariel-ashira Oh, you won’t have to wait for much longer…hopefully. 🙁 I don’t know how much time I’ll have to write this week, but hopefully I will have a new post by Sunday. 🙂
@dekreel Thanks! Yes, your map is very helpful! 🙂 Flying squirrels are cool. 😎 *wags tail* But they are even harder to chase than regular squirrels…

@ariel-ashira There are thirteen of us so far… 🙂
@filewriterbase13x That’s a good explanation of sci-fi, but I’d like to clarify that good sci-fi in the original form dealt mostly with assumed scientific facts, rather than purely fictional facts. If the “facts” are purely fictional with no basis in science as we know it, the work can be…[Read more]

@skredder Just the kind of ending I wanted. XD Thanks!
@ariel-ashira Thank you! This is a Kingdom Pen adventure I’ve been working on. Sort of like Warren’s Dog series. You can read my whole story here. Just scroll down first. XD
Oh, never mind, you have read it all! XD Thank you so much!! I’m glad you like it! And yes, you can’t go wrong w…[Read more]

A Dog in the Kingdom of Pen
Part 2: The Talking Squirrel
Warren Luther stared at the spot where Catwing had been hovering. A Cheshire Catwing…he hadn’t even heard of catwings before today and now there were Cheshire Catwings??? And a Sheriff named Rochellaine who doesn’t believe in Catwings or talking squirrels?

Joy started the topic Why Do You Blog? in the forum Non-Fiction 6 years, 8 months ago
Someday, unfortunately NOT someday soon, I want to start a blog. But basically the only reason I want to right now is because a bunch of you guys are also doing it, and I want to join the bandwagon. And because, well, who wouldn’t want a website where they talked about themselves a lot??
So I was wondering if there are other better, less…[Read more]

@ashlyvye @supermonkey42 Fantasy without magic isn’t too unusual, actually. The original fantasy work, Pilgrim’s Progress doesn’t use magic; Chuck Black, who is one of the most well known new Christian fantasy authors, doesn’t use magic at all in any of his books; Frank Peretti didn’t use it in the Cooper Kids series; Gilbert Morris didn’t use it…[Read more]

@ashlyvye What a cool topic! I write mostly fantasy, though I’ve begun to dabble in science fiction and realistic fiction. They don’t come as naturally to me though 😛
@supermonkey42 I agree. In my worlds, there’s “magic” in the sense that powers may exist, other creatures that I made up exist, and there are different races that I made up. But…[Read more]

@dekreel Yeah, I really like your writing because it’s not really one genre, but it’s just a little bit of everything instead.
@supermonkey42 Fantasy without magic? Wow. That must be really hard.
I don’t really like spells either because to me they just seem to easy. Like in Harry Potter how they just have to wave their wand a cert…[Read more]

@supermonkey42 Can you edit something on part 9 on the KPA for me?
The part where Jane says: “It seems you are an Evil Overlord.” Could you take off the word “evil?” Rochellaine and I had a small dispute… Thanks 🙂

Part 1: Into the Kingdom of Pen

@dekreel I insist that disbeliefing someone is not morbid! If they’re not real in the first place, how does it hurt to make them disappear from tangible sight? I can only disbelief things that aren’t real, since disbeliefing is a factor of the imagination.
@supermonkey42 Well no, “sentient” droids aren’t real, but you don’t act like a droid. :…[Read more]

Sure! Will do.
Thank you! But please don’t think I was upset at Dekreel as she seems to imply. 🙂 There was no dispute between us that I can recall. Just a request and an explanation.
You’re good. I understand. 🙂
Ah, @dekreel if you call it a dispute, they’ll think we were upset! And I’m not at all. 🙂 We just had a “clarification.”
@rochellaine Yes, I suppose that’s a better word… I was trying to think of a word in between “clarification” and “argument,” but I failed XD
