Easton
Easton opened his mouth to speak but was silently interrupted by Hallie flashing her wide smile and stepping towards the well-groomed young man that approached them.
“Excuse me, do you know where the Math class is?”
“Actually yeah. And unfortunately that’s where we’re headed.” She frowned, but her amusement s…[Read more]

Wow!
Just read what you recently wrote.
I’m assuming they’re taking her to the Tantiss facility or something? (That’s the name of the base btw, not the planet. I believe the planet itself is called Weyland?)
She’ll probably come into contact with her father a lot now….Not that she’ll like it.
OR, maybe Crosshair gets sent to…[Read more]

@loopylin you passed a driving test?
awesome
I’m 17, still haven’t touched a steering wheel, and genuinely don’t think I’d survive more than ten minutes on a busy road, let alone drive fluently all over the place. I still prefer sitting in the backseat actually.

Just kidding.
But hey, now you know them so much better now so when I put them in the roleplays, you’ll recognize their mannerisms and stuff.

@rae I can see why he’s one of your favorite characters. He must’ve taken a long time to come up with.
(and yeah, Snake doesn’t need the Grath to deal with. He’s already got one curse messing his body up. Well, actually, he doesn’t have it yet in this RP, but he will in his future.)
@princesachronicle22 lol me neither, at least till I can get…[Read more]

You’re totally fine! Sometimes it’s just fun to listen. (:

I love all the points y’all have made!!
I think that really clarified things for me. I suppose most non-Christian authors go into writing their stories the same way we do—they want to write a good story and present their convict…[Read more]

I think the best place to put that would be under General Writing Discusisons. Or Book Discussions (even though it’s not a book). Either would work, so it’s up to you. (:

Everton
“Yeah…yeah. You’re Ev. I’m…I really, really need to get to class. So can you get out of my way?”
Tony pushed by. Ev’s face twisted. Ok then, apparently he hadn’t slept very well. But maybe Ev was right. Tony’s hair looked less styled than it normally was and he had dark circles under his eyes.

I think the stories that have impacted me the most are the ones where I get to see the characters struggling with matters of faith and learning how to deal with tough questions, because I learn alongside the character rather than being preached at by the character. I, for one, love a good Christian story that leaves me inspired to…

I despise preachiness. Sometimes it’s okay in a show, where episodic storytelling demands clarity. Or if it’s self-aware. But overall, it’s obnoxious and nobody likes it! If you like preaching, study to be a preacher XD Plus it goes against the whole purpose of storytelling. You teach by example, not by just telling a child somet…
