Aww, thank you so much. That is so encouraging to hear <3
I checked out both of your articles, and what you shared is super helpful. I’d never thought much before of the Pinterest idea, but I’ll definitely be trying to take that up… have a bit of work to do first, though, cleaning up my boards 😉
Thank again, Ariel!

Hi, nice to meet you! That’s cool that you were homeschooled. What did you go to College for?
The fantasy I’m working on right now is actually the first for me. I was writing a YA or coming of age (don’t really know where to categorize it) but it died and I really took to fantasy and more romance. I also took a break from writing…[Read more]

Hi! I’ve seen you at Story Embers.
Probably my favourite part of my fantasy world is that while earth is at its modern state, the fantasy world is more medieval.
Well I used to say my defining feature was that it doesn’t have magic but then I read Melanie Dickerson’s retellings so now I would say that it’s the fact that Mia’s (My…[Read more]

*I definitely don’t think age does matter much. (Just wanted to clarify that because rereading the original line was confusing me so much and I had to use context of what I said later on to figured it out. XD)
Thank you! I do have to give you some credit for helping me better flesh out this understanding where I won’t limit myself f…[Read more]

I completely agree with you! You put it much better than I did. XD
To be honest, considering everything you said, I definitely don’t think age doesn’t matter much. Probably a little but not in the way it does for me. I just happened to have characters in their 20s that deal with adult-like content but that fact doesn’t mean it…[Read more]

Fair points. I’m probably too strict about the age for characters a little too much, and thinking on it, if you’re writing Christian fiction it’s way less of a problem than writing for the secular audience. There are of course will be always exceptions to this “rule” of mine, which I probably should have mentioned before.

Hallo everyone,
Being a soon-to-be-published author, I need a launch team. And unfortunately, Instagram did not provide me the humans that I hoped would help support me, so I’m turning to my backup support group. If you have a social platform with a decent amount of followers (I don’t mean to be picky, but it’s harder on me if I have a large team…[Read more]

Thanks, it was cool!
that was fun to see people’s writing styles, I mean, it’s not so evident since it’s one sentence and mostly dialogue, but still, it was fun!

What’s the premise of the story you have been working for years on? I can’t wait to get to that point with the big project I’m working on with my siblings. We’ve written a couple test chapters and I just love the seeing all the characters we’ve known forever come to life in a cool world. We are just bit tangled up in a bunch…[Read more]
