@everyone
S’up.
I will not have the next part out soon, because I have caught two terrible-horrible-no-good-very-bad viruses back to back 😖
Am on the mend, but I was on fire for three days and it felt like I was growing laser eyes the hard way.
Will probably update next week instead, as I now need to catch up on school and hurriedly prepare f…[Read more]

but did anyone fall to Mundy’s venomous teeth or tail barb?
I can’t tell you!! 🤣 You gonna make me spoil everything!
not trying to be greedy or demanding (sorry if I sound that way) but do u have the next chapter ready yet? I (and probably everyone else) really want to see what happens next.
I really appreciate the enthusiasm ☺️ U are…[Read more]

Yeah, ofc, to everything you said 😂
I don’t personally relate to Riker’s abuse, or Leon’s anger against God, but I do understand them.
I second Koshka’s point! That’s how I would summarize my opinion.

I honestly don’t think I can answer that, lol.
For me, the two have very similarly structured POVs and voices – which is totally a stylistic thing since they are supposed to parallel each other. But that makes it harder for me to choose XD
The main difference is their internal struggles. I also can’t say I enjoy one con…[Read more]

You know you’re a writer when you scroll through a huge list of baby names, and not one name is new to you

Oh no, Liko! Poor dude… now I feel bad. We must return the keys right after and tell him how cool he is. -

You know you’re a writer when your sibling physically blocks your mouth from commenting on a new movie
You know you’re a writer when it takes you 1.2 seconds to create a lengthy theory in your head as to why the new Avatar: Last Airbender show is shooting itself in foot and somehow pulling a character’s turmoil inside out, per the constant refer…[Read more]

Oh wow, you’re using the Save the Cat method. I’ve never used that outline XD
I can also volunteer with @koshka as a rambler if you need one.
Oh oh oh, maybe you need more setting-type things to spur on some scenes. I don’t know much about A’Grend, but it would be great if the setting, and the objects or people who natural…[Read more]

No comment 😂
I’m so glad!! I hope it turns out well!!
@everyone
I gotta say, it is an absolute drama of an outline and some of the parts are super crazy 😝 Some deaths make no sense at all, while others make a little too much sense.

Eeeyyy you distracted me in class, and I never get distracted by a phone in class 😂 Now I can say I’ve had a universal teenager experience.

What are the main characteristics in Alpha that you want to keep?
Personality is a result of purpose. We have a purpose for every character in a story, whether big or small.
Alpha’s purpose is shown through his theme, his drive in life, his passion, or his response to something that changed his perspective forever. What is Alpha’s pur…[Read more]

Sure!! 😊 Scenes and motives are great!
You’re good! Dylan’s family situation reminds me of Rapunzel, not going to lie. Sounds like an interesting dynamic to play with.

Do you want help pinning down his traits? I’ve just noticed you mention how hard it is to write Alpha quite often.

Oh, and I also like Jonas’ point about one-note motivations. It’s probably one of the hardest things to hide from the reader’s notice. I personally believe it is okay, even great, for a character to have one point to them. One deep-set motive. But if you never show that motive, and instead make up a few secondary motives that demonstrate how the…[Read more]
