@ribbonash Yupp!! Great job!! Oh yayy, I’m sooo glad it helped you. It can be rough trying to Sprint from different time zones haha. Currently. it is 7:25 am here, and your message says you sent it an hour ago, so for me that would be about 6:25 I guess. I’ll try to Sprint with you, but as I rule I tend to wake up at about 7–7:30ish, so idk if…[Read more]

@nanisnook Awwww I bet they’re amazingg. It’s sad y’all can’t keep them! At least y’all get to have them for a bit haha. My family and I need cats super badly, but because of Covid/lock-downs, everyone seems to be adopting more pets. We live in an old farm house that gets mice pretty badly, so cats would reallyyy help us out :)))) Hopefully…[Read more]

Can you give me your current synopsis and a couple of quotes from your book you love? I’ll mess around with the blurb if you want and you can choose which one you like.

Of course! Glad you joined!
1. I’ve heard a lot of good things about Shannon Messenger’s KOTLC series! I haven’t read it yet though.
2. Nice name choices! I’d do either Bethel, Shiloh, Selah, or Shalom. Probably Shiloh or Bethel.
3. Frozen yogurt is good, but I have to concur with you. Ice cream is the best! 🙂
I am 16!…[Read more]

Totally agree with you, girl. LOTR forever! 😛
Isn’t it?! I act out so many scenes,
many of them just me envisioning possible future scenes. I guess since it’s enjoyable and helps us connect with our characters, I’ll do it forever. We’ll just look ridiculous together!Oh, those sound fun! It really is hard to pick favorite songs.…[Read more]

This is a late response, but I figured I’d pop in anyway. 🙂
I completely get what you’re saying. I’m in the same place with my WIP myself: working through another rewrite (I’m seeing a fourth looming in the distance *sigh*) and working on a scene which, at the moment, is pretty technical and (in my eyes) boring. I’ve been, and…[Read more]

Another blurb idea. 😛 Maybe there’s a sentence that kinda summarizes the main part of the story you could start the blurb with that you like better than your first sentence? Like, is there one from where your nine chosen characters discover that they are called or learn of their mission, or a sentence that hints at your villain’s…[Read more]

Lydia S. replied to the topic What is your least favorite type of hero? in the forum Topic of the Week 5 years ago
Hmm… Least favorite main character type? I guess I really have problems with the perfect ones. Especially the ones who are in their teens or young adult years and unbelievably wise, even up to the point of counseling their older siblings and friends on problems which they have no experience in (e.g. romantic relationships).
