Vulka&Lynnieforever!!!! XD
Ah, just kidding.
By the way, I was told to tell you Koshka is thrilled. In fact, when you meet… somebody you might find her to be a lot like Lynn in personality. Also, it would be hilarious if Vulka married a shortie. (His father did.[which is where Z…[Read more]

Um…………… Actually, I was going to say Cendrick, a main character from the first novel I set out to write (and made it to the third chapter.), But I just remembered one of the few vivid memories I have from my early early childhood. I was making a picture book during service at…[Read more]

Yay! That sounds good. They can meet him while getting food (maybe he has found some?) and he can come back with them to meet N and Paxton.
Also, I’m thinking that one of the kids might ask about the brand, because adults usually try to ignore such things. He wouldn’t really mind, but it would open up some details…[Read more]

And yes, I’ve read through it. It’s so much fun!
Someday we might get together and publish it as “The Wild Wanderings of Our Lost Characters” or some other such title. I’m sure it’d be a best seller. XD
Actually, it’s been quite handy when on the off chance that I can’t quite get into the feel of my characters I can get on here…[Read more]

Yay! Yeah, I thought they might. They’re such darlings. (As for the brand… I’m not even sure what to think about it. It’s just so horrible really, but it’s just one of those things in my books that doesn’t want to lighten up.)
I love your characters and don’t mind a rant. (I rant about mine, after all. XD)
As for his name, I…[Read more]

Oh, and I just wanted to say, I LOVE THE INTERACTIONS BETWEEN Y’ALL’S CHARRIES! Although, poor Grimm is getting a bit of a hard time. And the kids are so cute!

Hi….. So…..
I know I kinda fell off this, but I’ve had a much needed break and now I want to join again.
You see, I have a new character. He’s pretty awesome, or so I gather from the little bit I understand of him; like I said, he’s very new.
Would you mind if he showed up and…[Read more]

Elishavet Elroi replied to the topic THE CRAZY SLEEPOVER WHATEVER WE WANT RP! in the forum General Writing Discussions 1 year, 9 months ago
Wow, this looks like it could be a ton of fun. (I’m thinking this is like a mixture of camp, Bible College, and a birthday party, because… That’s what a sleepover basically is.)
Also, I’m really not comfortable with makeup etc. either, but fun hair styles and those heinous face masks would be really fun! I would love to see my…[Read more]

If you pull it off in an interesting, believable way I think it could be quite the opposite of cheesy. I think it all comes down to how you execute it.

Oops! I accidentally sent in a draft of that post. *Facepalm* I hope it wasn’t too rough.
Anyway, Your allegory sounds interesting! The end times are a bit difficult to write an allegory for anyway, with or without doctrinal differences, but it could make for a powerful read. My last book is technically over the end time harvest,…[Read more]

That is funny! Your allegory sounds interesting though, and I get what you mean about theological niches. I struggle with the balance of doctrine and relatability myself, especially since my convictions on the Bible aren’t mainstream Christain. I’m an Apostolic Pentecostal, and that means my

Oof. I also have difficulties with this. (I think every author does at some point.)
I’ll just echo @booksbyjayna and say keep writing and study the authors you want to emulate. I’ve seen it work and will definitely be personally implementing it as much as I can.

I do too; Theology is amazing because our Savior is amazing, and that makes it impossible not to talk about, sometime.
But at least we’re still in the struggle and keep getting up.

If they’re comfortable and open, it would be wonderful to get their insights and understanding for an article on the subject!
I’ve heard from Autistic people online that autism is often misconstrued in media like books and movies. It’s one of many topics that a simple google search isn’t enough for. So if they are cool with it, an…[Read more]
