I’d like to hop back into this rp but it looks like Kepha who I was rping with left KP 🙁
So Gabriel is now wandering wherever alone I guess. Should I have him meet someone or just do whatever?

And just when I thought I wouldn’t have to post on here for a while…
So, today I collapsed multiple times. I’m not hurt, I fell into a chair the first time, I was on my knees when it happened the second time, and the third time it was into loose, rounded gravel. I didn’t faint, since I didn’t black out at any point, my legs just gave up I…[Read more]

I can kinda work Zoom, as can my sister. Google Meet works too, as does Microsoft Teams (but that’s a more grown-up/school/work thing, so probably not super useful around here).
Thanks for the advice! *muttters emotion, emooootiooon*
Right. I have the power to kill all ground-dwelling parasites and send my goat kiddos into the…[Read more]

It’s a beautiful site! I find it pretty easy to navigate. I like how you’ve taken the foundational pieces of KP like the different sections in the forum community and built on them to make something a little more elaborate. The project pages look AMAZING. It’s great to have a place to share work under one’s profile. I also love…[Read more]

I can send y’all an email to connect the emails if you guys don’t have them already! We usually just use Google Meet, create a meeting, and then send the link out through email.

That would be really fun! We should do it. It wouldn’t be unpractical, and might help a lot with writers block etc.
In my outline, I marked this section as “harvest.” It’s them working on the farm… although nothing seems to be happening, so I’m trying to figure how to move the plot along.
Also researching about using goats in…[Read more]

Ok, thank you so much!
I guess my main question right now is how did your dad feel being in a completely different culture? What was the culture shock like and how did he view this new place as an American?
Is there a reason why you want to set the story in Africa? Maybe you just want a fresh but still realistic setting,…

So, I haven’t read what other people have said, so if I accidentally repeat them sorry.
This might sound weird, but imagine your story in a make-believe country. Does it affect the plot? Is the story drastically changed? If it’s not by putting it in a hypothetical country, then you should be able to change the setting.
As for researching, I have…[Read more]

Lol. That makes so much more sense. I like that first season a lot, especially Nugget and the thwaps. What did you think of it?
Ok! I’ll have to go find it then. *Poofs off into a search engine*

That’s awesome! We haven’t gotten our parents into it (listened to the first book with them, and Mama read Arttham’s part in the end, so he’s her favorite character now. But not into the show really.). My sister and I did manage to get a girl we worked with onto them. We watched all the first season, and then what we could get for free…[Read more]

A story set in Africa? Sounds great to me! I do see what you mean about the culture difference, and I’m just going to say up front that it’s a good thing you recognize the need to study instead of going with stereotypes! Still, don’t let it hold you back. If changing the setting ends up being the answer, that’s ok, but research doesn’t…[Read more]
