I love the chaos!

@loopylin @beth-torres

That was amazing. I love these librarians.

Tavar

He sat frozen in place, a well of amusement and horror mixing inside him as it had the last time Quibble had come by. It was hard to keep a straight face when she turned back around, especially with Clancy’s patient expression peering around her.

“Is that all the m…[Read more]

Ari

The professor blinked once or twice and nodded regaly. “That is a question more suited to the philosophy masters, but you may be on to something. Science was once called the philosophy of nature.”

After another pause, the lecture recovered and staggered on. Ari hunched over his desk, elbows propped on the tabletop.…[Read more]

Gabriel

He smiled. “Yes then, yes you can. You already have more than I when I was your age, so why not?” He sat next to her, grabbing a comic of his own. He still couldn’t read it, but he could pretend.

This is kinda funny watching now as Bwerdie starts off as an orphaned kid Gabriel’s taken in and ends…[Read more]

Lillian I think you mean?

Nope, not her.

@loopy @whalekeeper

I’ll introduce her once I’ve read all the RPs and drawn a satisfactory image I think.

@loopylin

I was looking at the old posts in this topic and found this:

No idea how interested you are in drawing her again, but I’m asking to see a redraw because she’s so cute! She and her space octopus should never be forgotten!

If you go way back in the Art Sharing for All topic, you’ll find where I first asked for help on how to stop drawing realistically. On the very next page is the drawing that started it all. (Also excuse my lack of prose then. I was 14 and I sounded like a little kid lol.)

I should redraw that one, shouldn’t I?

Versus a piece over a month ago:

@c-l-speck

but I’m trying to get into more animated-style artwork, because it takes way less time than realistic art, at least for me :’(

That is very relatable.

@quicksilverwyvern

Awesome! It’s a wonderful little book. Hope you enjoy!

@elishavet-pidyon

Sounds like a good plan. I know it’s hard to find time to read during the semester. Let me know if there’s anything I can do to help. 😉

Mothy…..0_0

Ari

The silence stretched thin. A boy three seats ahead elbowed his neighbor and glanced back at Moth with an amused smirk. Moth shrank a little further into himself.

Ari’s eyes went black. He locked gaze with the back of the boy’s head. Slowly, the boy turned to look. The color drained from his face.

Whoa. She has an intense drive. I feel sorry for her but am concerned about what she’s up to. Is she a main character?

Gabriel

Gabriel pulled his arms closer to himself, as if trying to make himself smaller. “I was average in height for my village, but I was scrawny when I was younger. I only started building much strength by 12 or 13. Why?”

@c-l-speck Hi, and welcome to KP! 👋🏻

Your WIP sounds very intriguing👀 I love the thought behind your book. What would you say are your favorite theme(s) in your story?

Oh, and I should introduce myself…hi, I’m Freedom, a Child of God first and foremost, writer, reader, indie author, history buff (WW2 specifically), MCU fan, aspiring a…[Read more]

@quarterstaffgirl Hi and welcome to KP! 👋🏻💜

Quarterstaffs are such an underrated weapon choice, and it’s so cool that you use one. What would you say is the hardest (or easiest) part of using one?

I’m Freedom, a Child of God first and foremost, writer, reader, indie author, history buff (WW2 specifically), MCU fan, aspiring artist, music…[Read more]

@galaxartian Hi Galaxartian, welcome to KP! 👋🏻

Ooh, fantasy. 👀 The themes you explore in your writing sound very interesting: what led you to tackling those themes in your writing?

Ahem…I should probably introduce myself. I’m Freedom, child of God first and foremost, writer of primarily historical fiction and no-magic fantasy, indie author,…[Read more]

@liberty I’m taking part in JWM again this year 🫶🏻

@ellette-giselle Ahhh this is so exciting🫶🏻🤭

I’m not very active on here anymore, but hello everyone new (and old)👋🏻

I’m considering adding a character in here to flesh her out.

To all of probably only 1-2 people who get this reference, she’s someone’s little Bwerdie.
