Awww, I love that!! That’s a short engagement though! (Which is completely fine, I’ve just never seen that before, so it’s really cool!) What do you have planned for the wedding?

Well, short engagements are pretty common where I’m from, though I think we set the record by a couple days! XD

we have getting married planned for the we…[Read more]

haha, I know. It’s just weird anyways because she was one of the younger ones, and knowing how old she is makes me feel old. XD ]

Also, just out of curiosity, are you going to keep your name since you’ve published under it?

absolutely not! already in the process of updating copeywrites. In a few months at t…[Read more]

I’m having a similar problem. I love my projects but I flit from one to the next and no real progress gets made, so I don’t know how much help I’ll be. As far as clean Christian books go, I generally read classics and MG. I avoid YA and adult unless recommended by people I trust or written in the olden days. If you want…[Read more]

Thank you! I’m homeschooled too! I’ve been homeschooled my whole life lol.

GASP. QUESTIONS.

In writing, I think I struggle most with focusing on the small details on the story, and keepings things consistent throughout. I picture the story and the characters in my head, but then I write it down and always seem to miss the…[Read more]

After much thought (and casually disappearing again) I have decided what I want to do.

I’m still working on developing the plotline, as it has changed a lot.

I’m not sure if I’ll ever finish this story because I change it so much, but I honestly just write for fun so I guess if it’s fun, I should be…[Read more]

Umm guys I need some help.

I think my story has outgrown all the powers and stuff. it just makes it complicated!!

The more I read books nowadays there are a LOT of books out there similar to mine. Like, there are all the rich people with powers, and they have control over the people who don’t have powers.…[Read more]

I found a song that is like the theme song of my Andromeda book

It’s called Commodity by Remedy Drive!! It fits sooo well

That first trial sounds good, and if you want, you could have your characters join ours after their trial.

Emmerich

A hot, grainy substance burned Emmerich’s hands. He moved his hands and sat up, the ground beneath shifting slightly. It was a brownish yellow color, and incredibly uncomfortable.

Gazing round, Emmerich caught sight of Rosalind, w…[Read more]

TINDER

The sand was everywhere. Tinder choked on it, hacking in an effort to dispell the grating particles from her throat. Pushing from the mound of wet beach she’d woken up on, Tinder flopped on her back and sucked in gulps of sand-free air. Feeling slowly returned to her aching body,…[Read more]

Okay I wrote like half of it, I’ll try to get to the rest when I have more time later today!

Yay, new person joining!!

@princesachronicle22

No pressure or anything, but do you think you’ll have that first RP out soon? It’s okay if you need more time.

Thank you!!!

I like it because it makes sense–they don’t want a child ruling their country and it’s something that I haven’t seen a lot of fantasy books incorporate.

I’m still fleshing out how Wadsat connects to all of it. I’m thinking that maybe some Paynes are so poor that they have to sell themselves into slavery to…[Read more]

Totally forgot to write the first RP though…

But you should totally introduce your charries and hop in before I write it!

Okay, so I have some new ideas.

First I’m going to tell you about each government and political settings and then explain what my ideas are.

Andromeda

They’re set up similar to an oligarchy, like each race (Azer, Aquino, Estrello, and Pitt) send representatives to Lir and they meet to discuss rules. Often, the representatives’…[Read more]

Thanks for asking! I’m as well as I can be, given the circumstances. I’m probably going to contract a stress-induced illness; that’s how I roll.

Thank you for the sympathy <3 I appreciate it

Something like a last farewell or something??! I have been searching for over a month. It started out as “oh that would be cool if they had a theme song” and turned into “they MUST have one just because I can’t find one.” lolol

So, anyone have a good one?

@esther-c

Yay!! I’ll be joining YDubs too! Still a KaPeefer at heart, but I do want more professional feedback and stuff seeing how I’d like to publish mainstream.

I tagged you on my intro post!

I tried to find you, but couldn’t remember your last name…XD

Whoa, weird!

This article may give us some more context… https://kingdompen.org/kingdom-pen-goes-on-hiatus/

My browser recommended it to me when I searched up the website. What I don’t understand is why there were so many people able to join after this?? And we still had submissions occasionally for years, right?

Wow!! That’s really cool.

and also scary that AI can do that….

We are! We sang a hymn commemorating the Holy Innocents at church today.

Thank you! No one else caught the stomach bug, but we did end up with another cold…I think everyone’s nearly over it now though. And I’m praying for you too!
