@lillian

Oooh he looks cool.

@elishavet-pidyon

Sorry I basically died. I wanna get back to this soon 😭 I’ve been having a brain blank, but I think it’s slowly fading away… XD

@bilbo-baggins

I know, I’ve been practicing 😞

One day. Do not lose hope.

You should try it.  It’s very good and does not actually taste like butter, despite what the name would imply.

And fear not. You will not be defenestrated today.

@lillian

I use graphite mostly, but I sometimes use charcoal pencils, watercolor, acrylics and recently have gotten into digital.

Cool, I’ve just started doing digital art recently too!

ummmm I have no idea…..

In my opinion the objective answer is ‘snallygaster’ 😛

@whalekeeper

Yes. That is a good idea. It’s crazy how much lore has developed. I think the Royal school is the most structured/would have the most choas on its hands, but the others have long histories. XD

@whalekeeper

Oh yeah! For sure!

@koshka

Yayyyyy! I would live to join. =D

@lillian

Greetings and welcome to the Kingdom of Pen!

Books, good food, medieval culture, and a cozy tavern/inn? All necessary and fabulous. *enthusiastic nods* Your WIP/worldbuilding sounds fascinating already.

Also art! Graphite and watercolor are lovely! As are acrylics and digital, you just definetely are beyond me there lol. I’d love to…[Read more]

@lillian

Hello! Ryuu looks/sounds like a great character. He will fit here perfectly.

I don’t know if you found the map of the place, but you are free to put him with the other groups or make up a room/class/instructor as you like!

@whalekeeper

Lore! Yes… Ok…

*brain imediately blanks*

Aha! I have the RP aesthetic. I shall post it again so the newbies don’t have to chase it down in the thread history. (although I do recomend reading back. It’s entertaining stuff.)

@bilbo-baggins

1. I LIKE TO READ. AND RUN. AND PLAY PIANO. NOT AT THE SAME TIME.

What, you don’t do it at the same time? Sounds like a skill issue to me. (jk)

Now I expect you to answer all of these question as well.

🫡

1. Reading, drawing, 3D modelling, and videogames!

2. YES (my favorite is Vantage, which is like if an open-world videogame was…[Read more]

@koshka

Count me in!

@koshka @elishavet-pidyon @loopylin @rae @keilah-h @ellette-giselle @beth-torres

Guys, I have to write little informative summaries of the roleplays and post them on their respective topics. Because otherwise, we have chaos on our hands. I will do that when I have time.

@koshka

“Alcarna, Firefly. Well done.”

Yaayyy! Rare Ari smile.

I will post a continuation of the story when I get home.

@liskaboyce

 I have yet to hit 20k in a first draft, so that is goal #1. Then beyond that, yes I am trying to hit 50k. But if I manage to hit 20-25k it’s a win in my book!

Oh yeah, 20k is always the first goal. And some of my projects never make it past that point, I’ll admit.

Ooh, Kingdom Pen should do a NaNoWriMo spinoff forum for anyone in…

Hello Lillian!

(Takes a deep breath to introduce myself for the third or fourth time in the last 24 hours)

I am Whaley. I am a crazy creative who likes world-building, plotting secretive lore, history, antique-collecting, drawing, listening to music, and taking care of many pets. A fun fact about me is that my great-grandparents were associated…[Read more]

Ryuu is very charming and loves to spar in the training rings.

Sparring is a beloved activity here. :-p There are sparring mats inside the gym and pells for dummy practice right outside the gym.

@lillian

Awesome!! Nice to see a new face in the academy! 😄

If you would like some recommendations for where to place him – where the people are – Beth recently added a shapeshifter character who crashed through a window into the gym building. You could place your character there, if you like.

Or put him wherever! The main academy building is…[Read more]

@renegade

Hello hello!

I am Whaley. Lover of fun history (WWII and antiques), watcher of wacky television shows, listener of music, and all-around chaotic human being.

My favorite book is Les mis

I must ask, have you seen the musical? I got to see it a year ago and it was my fist exposure to the story. It was a ton of fun, and I still listen to…[Read more]

@liskaboyce

aha! Well, there are several artists on here who often draw characters for others. (I happen to be among them.) Look us up in the art topic if you are interested!

Well… the good news is, your problem is shared by many! There are so many different kinds of plots out there, that I’ve never understood why some people say there is one perfect method. There really isn’t. Most people don’t follow a strict structure and that’s normal.

What plot structures have you tried? There might be one out there for you -…[Read more]
