Oh my goodness, YES!!!!! The way he twisted the Bible made me so mad… Like you said, I wanted to throttle him. *facepalm*
Those are all really good points! I agree that Rochester wasn’t ready for marriage until he’d changed (Side note: their reunion was incredibly sweet). St. John certainly contrasted him! Honestly, I reall…[Read more]

Kathleen replied to the topic Do you Prefer Classical or Modern Literature? in the forum Topic of the Week 4 years, 5 months ago
Yeah, Classic lit. feels so much more grounded. It also feels a bit more comfy and homey to read. I do really like fast paced books, but slow paced books like classics are so relaxing.
Do you have any favorite classics?
@devastate-lasting
I haven’t dared venture back before the 1600’s ever since I read a bunch a books around that…[Read more] -

@elishavet-pidyon I know. Feather and Reed totally didn’t deserve what happened to them, but still….I mean, it was already written out for them because they were both from fanfics, and although they were both OCs they were closely linked to the original stories (they came from two separate ones).

GodlyFantasy12 replied to the topic How do you draft/write the "first" document? in the forum General Writing Discussions 4 years, 5 months ago
@elishavet-pidyon lol!! That is understandable!!! Drafting (writing in GENERAL) is ROUGH!!!
@devastate-lasting Oh nice!! I’ve tried doing the chapter outline thing for drafts and maybe once I get to later drafts it’ll work better for me 😂

HELLO MY KEEEEEPERS!!! SO! I am currently drafting Project Garden as you know, and I have discovered that I am seriously Pantsing it. Like…legit. I’ve got ideas and obviously some plot and storyline but it’s just like…writing whatever comes which is honestly hard most of the time and easy sometimes. SO WEIRD!
ANYWAY!! I’m wondering how…[Read more]

@elishavet-pidyon @trahia-the-minstrel Ugh, yes, we can be so mean to our characters. Like, literally taking two of the character’s best friends from her in the course of two days, and then killing off another in a story that happens a few years later.
Or making a fanfiction character’s dad the main villain of the original story, and then making…[Read more]

@elishavet-pidyon Yeah, sometimes I have to get around that too…. But I make it work. Only a few characters have gotten that treatment, though.

Um … yeah, that would probably be quite a lot of mental trauma. Enough to give him a pretty severe fear of fire, dogs, and soldiers. Children are very impressionable, and having a memory of those things in a tragedy like that would give him a negative association with all of the above.
I speak from half-experience — I don…[Read more]

@elishavet-pidyon Ugh, I have wanted to mentally strangle characters before. It means I REALLY don’t like them; a villain character I like may find himself in a redemption arc in one of my many fanfics.

Yuh, sibling relationships ftw. When is a story not better with a sibling, or sibling-like relationship?
Since it’s your favorite, how many sibling duos have you written, and do you have a favorite one you’ve written?
Yeah, there definitely is something special with brother friendships.
Maybe because it’s rarer…[Read more]
