the only part I still like about that story is Bacon, he was a good bear that shall live on in my memory for a future story lol
@nova21 that’s so sweet, and the storyline sounds really good.

Elfwing replied to the topic How do you continue a character arc in a series? in the forum Plotting 4 years, 9 months ago
well i like it!! the idea is very cool and sounds like you have an amazing story in the making!
I’d say you could probably continue his lie through the series as long as you have a way for it to be easily triggered, and words can do that. If he believes/believed he’s unloved, there would be insecurity. When people are insecure, comments…[Read more]

@kathleenramm yours sounds great! the glassblower is a very cool idea and I’d totally give it a good grade if I was a teacher. Either way it sounds great!! The glassblower idea is amazing (sorry repeated myself lol)
@godlyfantasy12 I admit I laughed out loud but that is a hilarious and great idea XD maybe the older sibling could have bribed them…[Read more]

Elfwing replied to the topic Writing A Christian Fantasy-HELP in the forum General Writing Discussions 4 years, 9 months ago
I agree with @gracie-j @devastate-lasting and @daisy-torres
As Lin said, I wouldn’t show my writing to most people at my church or people in general that are not my peers because my books are not for kids and the majority of adults would wonder what on earth I’ve been reading and watching to come up with such stuff. not that’s…[Read more]

Aw, well thank you; yes I totally get what you mean because yes, we are in very similar situations with our novels, and even though we take (or try to take) breaks from our novels, there’s just no way possible to forget about them. In fact, even when I take a short break now and then, the characters still follow me around and just…[Read more]

@issawriter7 youre welcome!! 🙂

And, as Lyn told the story of all that had happened in the wood, Ara couldn’t felt but feel encouraged, knowing that all three of them were safe. And that’s all that mattered. “One is too many.”
“Yes.”
“That Echopelt.” Hunterclaw shook his head, smili…

cool cool!!
they sound interesting! The dragon men especially. I like dragons and dragon people
I must admit if I did anything like that I’d do deer antlers. I’ve always wanted to do that because it looks so stinkin cool lol
my serpent people can morph into dragons and so they’re normal looking as humans for the most part excep…[Read more]

Thank you 🙂 it’s been a childhood-long adventure that I’m finally able to write down and make more real.
I am very curious about your stories with the human characters that have animal features; From the sounds of it, the puka of Gaelic mythology would be right up your alley!

Hi!! I know I’m a few days late but plotting just gets in the way sometimes and so do renovations on our 173 year old house we moved into six weeks ago XD
I am also homeschooled and have been all my life though I graduated this spring. And I love history, especially about the Aztecs and the Incas, etc. and the history of the UK and…[Read more]

so I won’t necessarily be doing one every day; I’ll try to but it only really works to be funny if I have at least six posts. So if you don’t see one at the end if the day that’s why. 🙂

Yah! that would be great! I have an Asian style culture in the southern region of Visaya (my lands in my story)… but it’s not a major plot and the elephants are only just making their entrance in the story lol They’re more the African species for looks, but small; like just big enough for someone to ride, small. XD (sorry…[Read more]

Exactly! XD I’d say that happens to 75% of all my posts, (the other 25% percent are posts that are less than a paragraph long).
I can definitely relate to that. Thinking I wanted to work on another WIP aside from my main novel. I’ve sifted through many more than I can remember, but the characters from that main novel always drag me…[Read more]

ah ok!! Coolio! I admit mine is weird and probably will get stranger still because the characters are not doing what they’re told and now are separated from each other. It’s called Star Full of Skies
no it doesn’t make you an outcast; it does take a certain frame of mind to sit and read it. I just happen to be on the mindset a lot b…[Read more]

ahh yesss goats!! My family raised goats for a while and let me tell you they would have tons of potential for fantasy lol. Good idea!
The ones with horns can uproot wire fencing (ours did…) and they can bite and they’re also good climbers and depending how moody they are they can be good companions for travelling if you use t…[Read more]
